Séjour parfait

Maison parfaite, très bien équipée, avec beaucoup de charme, entourée d'un jardin merveilleux et dans un calme absolu. Il faut s'habituer aux routes en lacet qui y mènent, mais une fois sur place, on profite de la tranquillité et de la vue. Propriétaires charmants.

Great stay in a calm surrounding

The checkin, the house, the garden - everything was perfect. The garden is really big and beautiful - the kids played there quite a bit, if the weather would have been better probably even more. As it was not that warm, we enjoyed the fireplace a lot. Apart from that, the house is really well equipped, everything is there, and very clean. Thanks for everything!

Under observation

Our stay at Hacienda San Fernando was going reasonably well until we sat down in the living room after cooking some dinner on the first evening and suddenly noticed a SURVEILLANCE CAMERA on the wall looking down at us. A search revealed another one looking down on the kitchen area. What the hell were the owners thinking? - they clearly have no respect for the comfort and privacy of their guests. The following morning I had a conversation with VRBO, they confirmed that their regulations absolutely prohibit use of cameras inside the premises and immediately agreed to cancel our reservation and refund all the money we had paid, plus they offered another 600 euros compensation. We packed up all our stuff immediately and moved to another place in a nearby area.

A beautiful house with a wonderful garden

Our week was rather cold and rainy but the Hacienda was a lovely place to be. Eugenia and Fernando were very welcoming and the house has everything you need. The fire was most welcome in the evening. Would love to come back in the sun! Highly recommend.

The perfect place for us!

Second time we are coming here and are really enjoying the beautiful house and especially the garden. Not far away from Moya and a nice starting point for hiking in the mountains. Fernando is the perfect host and communication was very easy. We hope to come back!

Mooi en ruim huis en een prachtige tuin

Het huis is ruim en koel. De tuin is fantastisch en de omgeving is schitterend. het is er heerlijk rustig. Fernando is een gentleman. Hij geeft goede tips voor dagtrips en restaurants op het eiland.

A gorgeous house in a stunning setting

We stayed in Fernando's beautiful house for a week and could have happily stayed a week longer. Not only was the house comfortable, perfect for five of us, the gardens and terrace were a joy to sit in every day. Although it was November, it was still warm in the middle of the day. The house is up a steep windy road from the motorway, but close enough to everything you want to see: El Roque Nubilo, Tejeda, Las Palmas, Agaete. It also took us only an hour to get to Maspalomas for a beach day. It' a fantastic place for a restful and peaceful stay surrounded by the beautiful countryside. Fernando was so helpful with suggestions of restaurants and places to visit on the island.

Wunderschönes Haus mit tollem Garten

Das Haus und der Garten waren noch besser als erwartet. Die Kommunikation mit Eugenia hat hervorragend funktioniert. Wir (4 Erwachsene) waren im März 2020 für 2 Wochen in Moya. In der zweiten Woche kam es zur Ausgangssperre in ganz Spanien. Eugenia hat uns täglich auf englisch die Nachrichten zusammen gefasst und informiert, wie es weiter gehen könne laut Nachrichten. Es war genug Bettwäsche, Handtücher und alle benötigten Küchenutensilien vorhanden. Nach einer Woche wurde das Haus komplett durchgeputzt und die Bettwäsche, sowie die Handtücher gewechselt. Der große, gepflegte Garten machte die Ausgangssperre erträglich. Das Haus ist mit mehreren Radiatoren leicht zu heizen. Einzig das Wlan könnte stärker sein. Wenn zu viele Geräte das Wlan beanspruchen, wird es sehr langsam. Mit einem bis zwei verbundenen Geräten, ist aber alles möglich. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Wunderschön

Eine traumhafte Unterkunft, alles war an seinem Platz, die Bedürfnisse (z.B. zwei Bäder, Veranda) waren exakt so schön, wie auf der Internetseite beschrieben. Eugenia und Fernando haben sich rührend um uns gekümmert, insbesondere als kurzzeitig die Wasserversorgung stoppte (der Grund lag außerhalb des Objektes). Großartig war auch der Garten ums Haus, einfach hinreißend. Das, was wir im Gartencenter teuer bezahlen müssen, wächst dort meterhoch. Küche, Bäder, Schlafzimmer, alles super. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in Moya.

Perferct place for a perfect winter vacation

The haciend was located on a big Finca with lots of trees and plants/flowers in the mountains. What a paradise! The atmosphere was incredible. The house was beautiful decorated and had all the utilities we could wish for. Communication with the host was easy and efficient. We got many good tips about where to go and where to eat. I can recommend this place and its owner to veryone. Will for sure try to come back!

Superbe maison !

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans l'hacienda San Fernando ! Nichée au bout d'un chemin sur les hauteurs, dans un environnement verdoyant, la maison est très bien aménagée et équipée. Le jardin est magnifique. La route depuis Moya est un vrai plaisir, bordée de talus fleuris à cette époque de l'année (grands sonchus jaunes et pericallis mauves). Eugenia est très disponible et très arrangeante. Encore merci pour les jolis bouquets et les petites attentions qui nous attendaient à notre arrivée !

Super Ort zum Erholen und Wohlfühlen!

Wir haben dieses Feierhaus in der letzten Minute gebucht, es war absolut die richtige Entscheidung! Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet, kleine Details wie frische Blumen aus dem Garten, Tabs für die Spülmaschine, Holz für den Kamin und so weiter. Die Kinder hatten großen Spaß im großen Garten, der Bergweg zur Villa war zwar etwas schwierig, aber wir haben es geschafft ;-) Fernando & Eugenia sind super nett und freundlich. Wenn wir eines Tages wiederkommen würden, würden wir sicherlich wieder hier übernachten!

Sehr schönes, ruhiges Anwesen mit tollem Garten

Vielen Dank an Eugenia, Delia und Fernando für den schönen Aufenthalt und Eure Bemühungen und Aufmerksamkeiten! Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, viele Details, es gibt einiges zu bewundern an Gegenständen und Bildern. Alles ist da, man vermisst nichts und es ist sehr sauber. Der Garten ist einmalig und bietet sehr viel Platz. Er ist rund herum schön eingewachsen mit tollen, alten Lorbeerbäumen, Palmen und weiteren Pflanzen. Die verbliebenen Mauern und Umrisse des ursprünglichen alten Hauses sowie die mit verbauten Säulen und Steine versetzen einen in längst vergangene Zeiten und gestalten das Haus und Grundstück sehr interessant. Von hier aus kann man bestens zum Wandern gehen, die Dörfer in der näheren Umgebung ansehen und innerhalb von ca. 30 Min. mit dem Auto nach Las Palmas fahren. Da das Haus in den Bergen liegt, muss man sich natürlich auf sehr kurvenreiche, enge Straßen einstellen, die jedoch neu geteert sind. Insgesamt haben wir hier einen schönen, erholsamen Urlaub verbracht. Schöne Grüße und vielen Dank für Eure Gastfreundschaft!

een aangename kennismaking

het huis ligt temidden van weelderig groen aan het eind van een heuse oprijlaan. hartelijk en vriendelijk worden we, onze vrienden en wijzelf, ontvangen en wegwijs gemaakt in de gezellige woning. alles en meer is aanwezig. als welkom vinden we binnen een rijk gevulde mand gevuld met allerhande plaatselijke lekkernijen. de routebeschrijving naar het huis klopt exact, onze voor de zekerheid meegenomen tom-tom hoefde geen dienst te doen. het huis zelf is ruim, gezellig ingericht en prima voor ons vieren (volwassenen) . met zes personen zou het ons te krap worden met een tweezitsbank en twee losse fauteuils bij de zithoek. buitenzitten is een feest, luie stoelen, weelderige plantengroei om je heen, barbecue op het terras. kortom, onze voorjaarsvakantie kan niet meer stuk in dit prima huis, een mooi achterland met de mogelijkheid voor mooie autoritten. van harte aanbevolen......

Beautiful experience!

We stayed in Hacienda San Fernando between Christmas and New Years eve 2017 and I do believe that it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been on vacation. The ruin of the original house reminded me of Allendes "House of the Spirits" and the garden and surroundings are full of little nooks that just invites you to sit down and observe or read. There is a field of oranges, lemons and grapefruits that is a part of the estate and I have never had better freshly squeezed juice. When we arrived there was a fire already burning for us, in the wood burning stove (it was winter), and a gift basket with wine and cookies. A few days later the owner came by with a big box of oranges. The house is very cosy and full of trinkets and at the same time very clean and well maintained. It felt like we were invited into a real home, not just a tourist hotel. All the time we were there Eugenia did all she could to make us feel welcome and she was fast to answer all our questions by email. The weather was fantastic and we went both hiking (Los Tilos) and swimming (Sardina). The area is beautiful and green and the locally grown fruits and vegetables are very tasteful. I cannot recommend the place more, it is definitely worth the price. I would recommend it for families who like calm and nature and making excursions. There is even internet! :-)
