Acerca de este alojamiento
Peaceful Greenwich Retreat | Garden | Parking - Pass the Keys
A 3-bedroom home in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, a short walk from Greenwich Park, the Royal Observatory, and the historic Cutty Sark.
A short walk to Greenwich Market, Blackheath Village, and the Thames — where you can hop on the famous Thames Clipper to Borough Market or Battersea.
For stays of 7 nights or more, expect a welcome treat from The Cheeseboard on Royal Hill or one of the fine local artisanal hotspots in Greenwich and Blackheath.
Private enclosed garden. Smart Hive heating you control.
Miele dishwasher, American-style fridge-freezer with ice dispenser, Philips Hue smart lighting. Super fast mesh and fibre Wi-Fi throughout. Two bathrooms. A dedicated workspace.
Sleeps 5 people. Pets may be permitted with advance approval.
Carport parking available on request. EV charging available on request and advance approval.
We're on a quiet close beside Greenwich Park — a stone's throw from Greenwich Market, Blackheath Village, and Deptford. Well connected to London Bridge, Canary Wharf, Stratford, and Charing Cross via walkable Greenwich Station (National Rail and DLR) and Lewisham Station (National Rail and DLR). 🚆
For the scenic route, take the Thames Clipper from Greenwich Pier — London Bridge or Battersea by water. ⛴️
The Bedrooms
Three bedrooms across two floors. The master has a super king bed and built-in wardrobes. The second bedroom has a king bed, natural light, and views over the garden. The third is a single with a proper standing desk — good for remote work or a child who needs their own space.
The house sleeps five. That's a firm limit for neighbour comfort and insurance compliance. Bookings exceeding this may be cancelled without refund.
Living Space
The house was built in 1968 with a midcentury aesthetic that we've preserved and enhanced. Original parquet flooring runs throughout — it has the character and patina you'd expect from nearly 60 years of life, which we think adds to the charm.
Open-plan modern kitchen and dining downstairs. Miele dishwasher, American-style fridge-freezer with ice dispenser, gas hob, oven, microwave, air fryer, kettle, and toaster. Complimentary tea and instant coffee sachets. The mid-century dining table seat six comfortably.
The living room has a Sony Bravia OLED smart TV with Netflix, Disney+, and BBC iPlayer pre-installed — just log into your own accounts. Comfortable seating and art we've chosen ourselves. Philips Hue smart lighting throughout — set the mood however you like.
Two bathrooms: one with a bathtub and shower, one with the green tile everyone asks about.
The Garden
Private, enclosed, west-facing. Big enough for morning coffee or lunch outside. There's a smaller patio at the front too.
Please don't climb the hill at the side of the property — and be kind to the neighbours. They're lovely people, and keeping things peaceful is why we have clear rules on noise, parties, and smoking.
Heating
Smart Hive system with wall-mounted radiators throughout. The system comfortably reaches 24-26°C (77-79°F), if requested.
British homes typically operate at (18-21°C is normal here), so if you're visiting from a warmer climate, please feel free to turn it up or request assistance where needed and we can remotely manage the smart home thermostat for you.
Parking
The carport fits mid-sized SUVs comfortably (for reference, we park our Polestar 2 here), but due to height restrictions cannot accommodate larger vehicles such as minivans, campers, or commercial vehicles.
Parking is only permitted in the carport — not on the street, not elsewhere on the property, and not blocking the carport entrance. The Royal Borough of Greenwich and local neighbourhood association operates automated enforcement, and vehicles parked outside the carport will receive significant fines we cannot help with.
Please note: Large vans, campers, food trucks, and oversized commercial vehicles will not fit in the carport and cannot be accommodated anywhere on or near the property. Vehicles blocking neighbour garage access can be fined.
Electric vehicle charging is available via our dedicated Ohmi car charging port, but requires advance permission and approval from us (please allow for one week's notice to allow for remote enablement). A fee applies — please contact us before booking if you need to charge an EV.
Recycling & Waste 🦊
Like all homes in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, we're required by law to separate recycling. We've made it easy: clearly labelled bins and a simple guide is in the kitchen.
Please keep bins secured — the local foxes are clever and will spread rubbish everywhere if given the chance. This creates problems for our neighbours and cleanup headaches for everyone.
For stays of a week or longer, we'll ask you to roll the bins to the collection point on your designated day. This two takes minutes and is sincerely appreciated
Pets 🐕
We may accept pets at our discretion. Permission must be requested in advance and is not guaranteed — please message us before booking if you plan to bring a pet.
Dogs cannot be left unattended in the property at any time. A pet fee applies (see pricing).
Service animals are always welcome and exempt from this policy.
For Longer Stays
If you're staying for a week or more, expect a welcome treat — an artisan cheese selection from The Cheeseboard on Royal Hill (a Greenwich institution), or something from one of the excellent artisanal bakeries in Greenwich and Blackheath. This is subject to supplier availability but we will always strive to give the extra mile for you.
There will be some complimentary tea and instant coffee, as well as shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items included are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll which will last a couple of days. If you wish to purchase more for your stay there are a number of supermarkets and shops nearby. Please make sure to bring your own if you run out during your stay.
The whole house is yours. Self check-in via lockbox.
