Bedroom & Bathroom: Enjoy restful nights in our cosy bedroom and refresh in our bathroom with a bath/shower with towels, shampoo, and soaps all provided.
Cook up a storm (if you wish) in our fully equipped kitchen: Prepare your favourite dishes in your separate kitchen, complete with all the utensils and appliances you need for your holiday.
Fast Wi-Fi: Stay connected with our high-speed internet throughout your stay.
Welcome Basket: Arrive where you will find a welcome basket, including snacks and a refreshing beer, perfect for unwinding after your journey.
Activities and Local Attractions:
If you enjoy the great outdoors, you’ll find hiking and cycling trails right on your doorstep. We provide both hiking and biking maps to help you make the most of your adventures. Please be aware that the return journey from the lake is entirely uphill, so plan accordingly. If you fancy a swim, you will need to drive down to Millstatt, Seeboden or Dobriach, as these are the best access points for the lake.
Golf: for those who enjoy golf, there is a course nearby. We are more than happy to provide you with further information and directions.
The area boasts numerous places of interest. We can recommend some wonderful locations to explore when you arrive, ensuring you make the most of your stay.

We would like to welcome you to the idyllic setting of Görtschach near Millstatt. Here you will experience the peace and quiet needed for a relaxing holiday together with stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. We have lived here since December 2017, having moved from the hustle and bustle of busy lives in the South-East of England.
Please inform us in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details.
For guests arriving very early or very late, please contact us beforehand and we will be happy to collect groceries on your behalf. There is no extra charge for this service. Just settle the bill on your arrival.
We look forward to welcoming you into our home, so you too can experience this beautiful part of Austria for yourselves. We will be happy to answer any questions you have and point you in the right direction for the activities you desire.
NOTE: for people with cat allergies, we do have a pet cat. He doesn't go into the upstairs apartment but, lives with us in our ground floor apartment, but we want you to be aware he is on the premises.

From the balcony you have a view of our garden, lake Millstatt below and the mountains surrounding us.
It is a very peaceful little village and here you can truly unwind and relax.
We chose it for the reasons above as well as safety and the friendliness of our neighbours . German isn’t our first language but they have helped us and made us welcome.
