Great value basic accommodation. Historical old cottage with mix of antique & modern furniture. It has some minor cosmetic defects & is not perfect and shiny! Vintage decor. Despite frequent cleaning it is not 'new build' or renovated so might be unsuitable for asthmatics/sensitives.

House is next to quiet, scenic beach at Penhelig. 9 minute walk to Aberdyfi Beach.

Breakfast £5. Laundry, babysitting, delivery service. We supply bed linen but not towels. Full kitchen. Comfy beds. Entertainment: 42" TV, DVDs, music, games, books, kids activities. Lounge & Dining Room/ Games room /Study.

Good mobile signal. 4g/5g WiFi. Electric radiators for heating. No use of blocked fireplaces.

Parking permit valid at Penhelig car park 170m away and at Aberdyfi beach. Guests do stop outside to unload. 20mph road.

HOUSE RULES
- Read whole listing. Guests accept it's basic accommodation with cosmetic defects.
- Leave cottage in same condition as arrival for no cleaning fee.
- Must pay for minimum stay.
- Must report breakages immediately, e.g. fridge trays.
- Must communicate well & tell us if you leave early.
- Pets ONLY BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT. Must stay only in kitchen, use back door for entry/exit.
- ENERGY FAIR USE POLICY: plenty for most people & can easily add extra -contact host or use card. Oct-Mar =8 kwh per day 1-2 people. 9 kwh pd 3 people. 10 kwh pd 4-5 people. Apr-Sep = 6 kwh pd 2 people, 7 kwh pd 3 people. 8 kwh pd 4-5 people. kwh=30p. Meter in lounge.
- House is near 20mph road with no footpath. Kids must be supervised. No liability for injury.
-No use of outdoor steps at rear of cottage.
- Do not scratch your names on the wall outside the cottage, CCTV monitored, fine £200+.
- 4g/5g Wifi -usually works great but isn't guaranteed. Normally great mobile signal.
- Use only the number of beds for guests booked e.g. 2 people use 2 beds. Additional guests above 2 people = £35 each. CCTV.
- CHECKOUT: Leave cottage in same condition as arrival for no cleaning charge & to keep prices low. Strip beds, return parking permit, clean all your mess, remove garbage, vacuum.
- No use of the fireplace. Chimneys are blocked. No candles or incense.
- We do not supply TOWELS, please bring you own.
