We had a large group and this home was perfect for us. Casa de familia was the perfect stay, the hosts were extremely accommodating, the recommendations were helpful, etc. We would highly recommend staying in this home!

Great view, spacious home

We loved this comfortable property with its view over the city of Horta. We could walk into town in about 20 minutes, which meant we didn’t have to drive.

Wonderful retreat

We had a wonderful family vacation at Jorge's family home. All ages 4 - 70 found the space comfortable and perfectly suited for a relaxing home away from home. The communication prior and during the stay was excellent, and much appreciated. We will be happy to visit again the next time we visit Faial.

We had a wonderful stay at this Family home. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. If there was something extra that we required, a message to Jorge , the owner, or Marco, the co- host , and the matter would be resolved, almost immediately. Everything was so clean and orderly. The view from the front yard was spectacular! Thank you Jorge and family , and Marco and Carla. You helped make our vacation that much more memorable.

A beautiful location and spectacular views

The whole house is spacious, has the best views of the harbor overlooking all of Horta. Its 5 minutes from everything in town. I can't wait to plan next year's vacation staying there again. Marco the co host was absolutely fantastic. And Jorge and Teresa are great at keeping in touch too. Couldn't ask for more gracious and wonderful hosts.

Wonderful house, wonderful location, wonderful host!

We were only on Faial for three days but this house and our host made us wish we had booked a full week. The location is removed from the traffic of town, but close enough to walk into town numerous times per day (if you are up to a modest hill climb). A clean house with a great view of the harbour. Our host Marco was very accommodating as were the owners of the property. We highly recommend this house on Faial.

Beautiful Views & More

Our family of 5 (four adults & one teen) felt right at home. Plenty of room and the outside yards are very special. You’ll want a rental car or be prepared for a steep walk up from town. Kitchen is small but well-equipped. Hosts are nice and helpful. WiFi is strong & reliable. Good screens on the windows to keep the biting bugs out!

Beautiful spot

The location of the house, overlooking the town and harbor, was lovely. The house was well-equipped in terms of cooking utensils, kitchenware, and towels. It was a short but very, very steep cobblestone walk down to the town, which I would was fine for our group but might be a consideration for others. We really enjoyed our stay in the house. My only reservation is that we all found the beds quite uncomfortable. We would still recommend the house, but thought we should note that.

Jolie Maison familiale proche du centre de Horta

Très jolie maison avec vue imprenable sur la baie de Horta. Nous étions 4 adultes et 4 enfants de 6 à 12 ans. Maison bien équipée. Centre de Horta accessible à pied (en ce compris les départs pour le Whale Watching), ce qui est très agréable pour profiter de l'ambiance de cette très jolie ville. Je recommande si vous souhaitez passer un peu de temps sur Faial !

La vue est comme annoncée : superbe Hébergement bien situé à proximité d'Horta. Logement spacieux et appréciable, nous étions 8. Il y a un point à améliorer, la literie de certaines chambres. surtout si elles sont destinées à des adultes.

Tolle, Wohnung in guter Lage in Horta

Wir waren im Juli 2019 für mehrere Tage zu Gast in dem Ferienhaus. Der Blick vom Garten auf die Bucht von Horta ist beeindruckend. Im Haus ist viel Platz und alles wichtige vorhanden.

Very comfortable and convenient

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It has great views and is in a very good location. The house is clean and comfortable and everything was in good working condition. The wi-fi worked well, the kitchen was good and all of our needs were met. We were able to walk to restaurants and the harbor. Marco met us at the house to let us in and give us the keys and then had us follow him to a very nice grocery store so we could stock up for the week. All in all, a great experience.

Ein tolles großes Haus mit großem Garten

In diesem wunderschönen großen Ferienhaus haben wir uns total wohl gefühlt. Es ist so großzügig eingerichtet, liegt in einem großen Garten und man hat von dort einen fantastischen Blick auf Horta und den Hafen. Allein das Haus zu finden gestaltete sich etwas schwierig, wir mussten zweimal mit den netten Vermietern telefonieren, die uns dann aber per Telefon dorthin lotsten. Da wir auch wunderbares Wetter hatten konnten wir teilweise bis spät in die Nacht im Garten sitzen und in den Sternenhimmel schauen. Wir waren rundherum zufrieden.

Beautiful location and property. The property managers were very attentive. We loved the house in general, from the lawn to the individual rooms, and the magnificent views. It was spacious and comfortable. There were 6 of us, including two children, and we all enjoyed our stay.

Tolles Familienhaus mit Ausblick

Wir konnten für eine Woche in diesem sehr schönen Haus eine Woche Urlaub verbringen. Toll am Abend der Ausblick auf den Hafen mit den einlaufenden Schiffen, ruhig gelegen, sehr sauber, komplette Küchenausstattung vorhanden, Schlafkomfort sehr gut, Bad nebst Dusche ebenfalls. Sehr hilfreich war auch die Nutzung der vorhandenen Waschmaschine. Übergabe des Objektes erfolgte zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt zügig, es gab absolut keine Probleme. Parkplatz vor dem Haus vorhanden, sehr günstig zum Hafen für Ausflüge auf die Nachbarinseln gelegen. Jederzeit gern wieder. Vielen Dank an Jorge und Marco !

A lovely home in Horta

This is a lovely home with a very solicitous host. The house is comfortable and conveniently located to everywhere on Faial. It has the most beautiful view of the harbor imaginable and is within walking distance of an excellent buffet style neighborhood restaurant. I recommend this rental highly.
