Villa Levante is a bright and welcoming 3-bedroom villa with a private pool, nestled in the peaceful village of Lakithra, Kefalonia. Located in a quiet, flat neighbourhood, it offers the perfect balance of comfort and convenience — just a short drive from beautiful beaches, traditional tavernas, and the island's capital, Argostoli.
Set over two floors, Villa Levante enjoys open views across the valley and down to the Ionian Sea, with the majestic Mount Ainos providing a stunning backdrop. The interior blends rustic charm with modern comfort, featuring exposed wooden beams, a decorative fireplace, and warm, natural tones throughout.
The villa comfortably accommodates up to six guests in three fully air-conditioned bedrooms and it is a sister villa to the neighboring villa Ostria, located right next to it. Its interior is bright, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed for relaxed island living. The interiors feature a modern fan coil air-conditioning system and are thoughtfully designed to offer both comfort and functionality.

Ground Floor: Open-plan living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen; one double bedroom with en-suite shower room; one twin bedroom; and a separate family bathroom.
Upper Floor: A twin bedroom with beautiful countryside and sea views.
The villa's private (8.0 X 4.0 m) swimming pool is surrounded by a sunny terrace and landscaped gardens — an inviting space to unwind and soak up the Kefalonian sunshine. Guests can relax on sun loungers under umbrellas, dine al fresco by the built-in barbecue, or simply take in the panoramic views of the sea, valley, and mountains.
With its serene setting just 5 minutes from the airport, 2.5 km from the nearest beach, and a short walk to local tavernas and shops, Villa Levante offers the perfect base for families or friends seeking a peaceful retreat while exploring the beauty of the charming Kefalonia island.
Private parking is available within the grounds for occupants' additional convenience.

Villa Levante was clean and well looked after, with everything we needed for a self-catering stay. The lounge and dining area were comfortable, and the pool towels were a nice extra.

Everything about Villa Levante was easy and relaxed. Comfortable beds, good air-conditioning and a kitchen that had everything we needed. We enjoyed quiet evenings by the pool and BBQ dinners outside.

A Lovely Base Near Argostoli

We wanted somewhere peaceful but well located, and Levante delivered. The villa was spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. Beaches and Argostoli were just a short drive, which made exploring easy. Booking for next year.

Bright, Easy and Very Comfortable

Villa Levante felt light and airy from the moment we arrived. The open-plan living space was great for spending time together, and the pool area was perfect for lazy afternoons. Shops and tavernas were an easy walk away. We look forward to staying here again next summer.

Just returned home and had to write a truthful review about this property due to certain aspects lacking in what’s expected.Positives - location and viewNegatives - while the pool area was clean, there were some chairs (shown at dining table photo outside) which were broken and when we sat on them the child fell through and hurt themselves. They shouldn’t have been placed outside.The pool has green ‘algae’ stains above the water line and by the end of the 11 day the water was cloudy.The sofa in living room is like sitting on a wooden bench - very uncomfortable and under the throw extremely old and wornThe main bathroom is a Jack and Jill style and only about 4 inch of clearance between door open and washing machine - you have to manoeuvre around the door to get to the loo.Stayed 11 nights and villa had a bedding change once - no new loo roll or cleaning done at all !!If you’re allergic to cats - stay away - they pester you all day !Spoke to neighbour and he had the same issue - I’ve been to the island for 28 yrs and this is the only accommodation I would never stay in again - the owners need to spend some money on refurbishing it - at over 4,000 for our stay it was way too expensive.

We are surprised by your review, particularly as our communication during your stay was very limited and you did not bring any of these concerns to our attention. We understand that certain features may not suit everyone’s preferences. The bathroom layout and sofa style, for example, are characteristics of the property shown in its photographs and description, and we appreciate that they may not have been to your liking. The other matters you mention are different. Had you informed us about a broken chair, concerns regarding the pool, cleaning, bedding, or anything else, we would have been happy to investigate and address them during your stay. Unfortunately, without being notified, we had no opportunity to verify or resolve these issues. Regarding the cats, we are surprised by this comment given the years of visiting Greece and Kefalonia. Stray cats are, unfortunately, a common part of life in Greece, particularly on the islands, and cannot simply be prevented from entering the surrounding area. We are sorry to hear about the incident involving the child and the chair. Had this been reported at the time, we would have immediately inspected the furniture and taken appropriate action. Guest safety is important to us. We always encourage guests to contact us during their stay so that we can assist and resolve any issues wherever possible.
