Yeah, it was really a shame what happened, but hold on because.......it's not what you think. This even SURPRISED me.

Our last lovely tenant, who lived in this paradise for two years, had something disastrous happen that made her leave this Garden of Eden on Earth, as she liked to call it.

What was the disastrous thing?

Her niece—yep, her own family—decided to show up with some gigantic, powerful dogs. They were the most beautiful dogs she had ever seen, the way she described them to me.

It was impossible not to fall in love with them. You know, most of us love these furry friends no matter their size, and that was the disaster: their size.

They were so big they didn't fit in the apartment. It was either them or the dogs living here, but there just wasn't enough room for everyone, hahaha.

These were dogs that needed a farm or a country house, a bigger space to enjoy their full potential. They were strong like a Pitbull and fast as Flash.

It was a disastrously wonderful problem, because she loves those big guys so much that she had to decide between leaving this paradise or leaving these beautiful dogs, and, well........

Yes, she decided to leave this paradise on earth to move to a bigger place. But as she was going and taking out her last things, she told me: 'It hurts so much to leave this place, Marlon.'

And it's impossible not to fall in love with waking up in the morning and seeing how the daylight paints the mountains right in front of the balcony, like a Van Gogh masterpiece.

Then, in the afternoon, the sun says goodbye without burning your eyes, hahaha, but letting you watch it disappear behind the mountains, with bright yellow and sometimes pastel orange tones, like the ones we see when the sun sets over the ocean.

It’s inexplicable what it feels like to watch the sunrise and sunset sitting on this balcony. It’s as if the universe wanted this apartment to have this privileged, mountain-facing position here in Sabaneta.

There's only one way you can truly realize how wonderful it is, and that's by coming and experiencing it. Once you live it, it's impossible to want to leave.

Because photos—ugh—photos have never managed to make anyone feel what happens when you see it directly. It’s like a living, real, moving painting, like Van Gogh's The Starry Night, but we'll call this one Van Gogh’s Morning and Afternoon.

Yes, I've taken many photos, but they just don't do justice to seeing it live and in person. When I've shown them to friends and they’ve come to see it, some of them even cry at how sublime it is.
