The Space:

Surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens within Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park, Fir Tree Lodge offers a peaceful and stylish countryside retreat. This modern two bedroom, two bathroom lodge sleeps up to six guests and welcomes dogs, making it perfect for families, couples, or friends looking to unwind in nature without sacrificing comfort.



The open plan living area is bright and airy, designed in calming neutral tones and featuring a cosy indoor fireplace for year-round comfort. The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances and everything you need for a self catered stay, while the dining area provides the perfect space for shared meals or relaxed mornings. The lounge area offers plush seating, a Smart TV, and large patio doors that open directly onto the private terrace.



Step outside and discover your own tranquil garden-view retreat. The spacious decking area features outdoor seating and a bubbling hot tub, creating the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a drink, or soak under the stars after a day of exploring.



The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed and en suite shower room, while the second bedroom offers twin beds ideal for family or friends. A second bathroom provides extra convenience, and the sofa bed in the lounge offers additional sleeping space if needed.



Fir Tree Lodge is also dog friendly, so your four legged companions can join you on your countryside escape. With the park’s on-site Bar & Grill, nine hole golf course, and scenic walking trails all close by, this is the perfect base to relax, explore, and enjoy the outdoors in style.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date.

Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay.



Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay.

There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times.



Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us.

Please note that the park is Dog Friendly but we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when on the park site.



All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park

The park lies just off the A1079, around two miles from Pocklington and approximately a half-hour drive from York city centre. Guests travelling from further afield can reach the park via the A1(M) and A64, both providing quick and direct routes through the region. Every lodge benefits from on-site parking, allowing guests to travel freely and explore the surrounding countryside at their own pace.



For those using public transport, York Railway Station offers fast and frequent services from London, Leeds, and Manchester, while local bus routes connect York and Pocklington several times a day. From Pocklington, it’s just a short taxi ride to the park.



Within easy reach, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay — from local shops and dining in Pocklington to walking trails at Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve.
