Castaways Condominium está ubicado en las hermosas playas de Gulf Shores. Nuestro condominio de 2 dormitorios recientemente remodelado está en el piso superior (noveno) para que tenga una vista increíble del océano mientras escucha los sonidos de las olas que golpean la playa. Nuestro complejo tiene solo 36 unidades, por lo que no hay multitudes y una caminata muy corta hundirá los dedos de los pies en la arena de nuestra gran playa privada.

Al estar a solo 1/4 de milla de la intersección principal de Gulf Shores, estamos a una corta distancia a pie de muchas tiendas de recuerdos y restaurantes, incluido un lugar favorito, The Hangout, que cuenta con música en vivo, restaurantes al aire libre, tiendas y una variedad de entretenimiento para toda la familia. También estamos a una corta distancia en automóvil del zoológico, parques acuáticos y de diversiones, cines, muchos campos de golf, pesca en alta mar y muchas opciones de compras, incluido un centro comercial con más de 120 tiendas.

El diseño abierto en la sala de estar es ideal para visitar a familiares y amigos y cuenta con una amplia vista frente al mar, TV de pantalla plana, reproductor de DVD y sofá cama. La cocina cuenta con muchos electrodomésticos y gabinetes actualizados que contienen todos los elementos esenciales de cocina para ayudarlo a preparar sus comidas y postres familiares durante su estadía. También hay una lavadora y secadora y conexión inalámbrica a internet gratuita.

La espaciosa suite principal tiene una cama king size con un futón que se convierte en una cama doble.
También cuenta con una gran ventana frente al mar, acceso privado al balcón y un vestidor muy grande. El segundo dormitorio tiene una litera doble y otra litera con una cama doble sobre una cama de tamaño completo. Cada habitación tiene un baño privado con lavamanos doble, mucho espacio de almacenamiento y un área de baño separada.

Nuestro complejo cuenta con un gimnasio con televisores de pantalla plana y una piscina frente al mar que se extiende debajo del condominio para protegerse del sol. Las tumbonas están disponibles en la terraza y las mesas con asientos disponibles a la sombra con dos parrillas de carbón cerca. Se pueden alquilar sillas de playa y sombrillas junto con motos de agua y parasailing. El parque estatal de Alabama está a solo unos minutos con un gran muelle de pesca. Bicicletas y scooters motorizados están disponibles para alquilar justo al otro lado de la calle.

The condo is right on the beach and the view is absolutely breathtaking! We were very close to restaurants and the hang out. The only thing that is tricky is the parking. Other than that it was great. We had a wonderful time!

This place was AWFUL

Room had the bare minimum cleaned. Countertops were dirty, toaster still had crumbs on top and on counter around it, coffee maker was dirty, built up food on and between the stove and counter top, the previous guest left their toothpaste spit in the sink and toenail clippings in the un-cleaned floor, hair in the shower, stained furniture, ceiling fans had not been dusted in a very long time nor had under the beds, microwave and fridge uncleaned, non stick surface actually stuck to my kids dinner resulting in us eating out every night (unplanned), was told extra cleaning being done due to covid-but the remotes had no batteries which is an obvious weight difference than remotes with batteries which prompted me to think they had no been cleaned-2 clorox wiped per remote later i determined they def were dirty, cabinet doors in kitchen were filthy as were the walls... owner-Sharon notified management who was supposed to speak to us the next day, never happened. Tried getting management myself to come look at the room the night we checked in but 40 minutes was too far for her to drive so she sent someone to clean up the room a little the next day (who left the bag of stuff she swept and dusted on the counter with food), management nor owner never addressed concerns other than sending the cleaner, who at least tried to clean up some but it was still not even mopped. Not sure if sheets were clean bc we were afraid to turn down the beds in fear of what we would find so we slept on top of bedding with our own blankets the entire trip. We also wore shores the entire time bc of how nasty this place was. I have PLENTY of photos to share if you would like to see, share an email and I'll be happy to send them. I'm not really sure how to share them here. Totally disappointed and when wanting a resolution the OWNER (Sharon) and management company (PAM WITH STARFISH REALITY), neither were willing to communicate or assist other than the halfway cleaning attempt the day after we arrived. I tried to resolve without leaving a negative review, but unfortunately, they were unwilling to do so and I do not want someone else to make the sa.e mistake we made!!

Beautiful condo but needs a little attention

This is a beautiful condo but the kitchen was not fully stocked. There were only 5 spoons & not enough dishes so we had to constantly wash dishes to have enough to eat with. The beds were not very comfortable. And the water pressure in the building would drop during high usage times and only air would come out of the faucet briefly during those times. There is only one elevator in the building and although it’s not a high occupancy building you do have to wait for the elevator most of the time. The parking lot is very tight and difficult to park anything bigger than an economy car. The location however was excellent and the owner was nice but probably won’t choose to stay here again.

Love Gulf Shores

Loved the condo proximity to the beach. Did not love having to find out if you have more than one vehicle, you must purchase additional parking passes. MUST bring your own beach towels, none in this rental. Cleaning crew may need a little training as we found someone else’s socks and trash on the floor.

Great Location and Unbeatable View

What a great vacation! The unit was clean and well equipped, but the view and beach access really impressed us the most. Additionally, the owner was very accessible and accommodating throughout the trip. She clearly cares about the experience that each renter has while being her guest.

Great condo, fantastic views!

Really nice beach condo in the heart of Gulf Shores, within walking distance to numerous restaurants, bars and shopping. Nicely appointed in beach decor, just as the photos show. Huge master bedroom with a futon, door to the balcony and a big walk-in closet. Teeny bathrooms but double vanity was separate. (As might be the case with many condos that indicate they are wheelchair accessible, the bathrooms definitely are not. You wouldn't even be able to fit a walker in there and the doorways were narrow.) Smallish, but private balcony, and because it was protected from the wind it enabled us to catch some sun during February's polar vortex and the view from the 9th floor was fantastic! Low density building with only 36 units, so no long elevator waits. Gulf Island Grille across the street and Sea 'n Suds down the beach were great! The owner, Sharon was a pleasure to work with, we would definitely stay here again.

Home Away From Home

This condo was perfect for my husband, kids, and myself. It had everything we needed, including the space. We could not have asked for a better view of the ocean. My husband and I were very pleased with our stay and will definitely recommend this condo to friends and family as well as stay here again!

Much needed break

We were excited to know that after hurricane Sally, we were still going to be able to go to this wonderful condo!! The elevator did not work because to the hurricane damage, but it was worth going up the stairs plus because of the inconvenience we were given a discount!. The condo was perfect for our trip and Sharon was awesome with communication!

Excellent Beach Getaway

We loved the Castaways condo! Was in excellent location to walk to lots of restaurants and shops. The beach was beautiful! Very comfortable accommodations and fully stocked kitchen for cooking. Our one major complaint is- the morning after we arrived the elevator went out. It did not work the entire trip. This condo is on the 9th floor. It is a major problem and we saw no one working on it over the 4 day trip. Beware- it seems the elevator is a constant problem. But! The view from the 9th floor balcony may be worth it!

Very Nice to be in Alabama

Condo was perfect!! Clean , neat, nicely decorated and stocked, amazing view, beds were plentiful and comfy, couldn’t have been more perfect for us! The outside could use a little touching up because it seemed a little weathered but it was ok. The location was great, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We had a great stay! We definitely plan to return! Thanks to SHARON for allowing us to rent this amazing company condo in such an amazing area!

Only complaint was that the water was very unreliable. Would stop during showers. Everything else was great.
