This attractive, welcoming cottage in a wooded setting is ideal for family and friends looking for a tranquil holiday surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are rural walks direct from the property or you can drive less than 5 miles to reach the quintessential Suffolk seaside town of Southwold with its pier, lighthouse and beaches and breathtaking coastal views from the top of Gun Hill.
A charming property that blends original exposed ceiling beams with contemporary chic comfort and is ideal for a relaxing rural retreat. The white-washed walls create a light and airy feel throughout the property, A characterful sitting room on the ground floor with exposed brickwork, a cosy wood burner, and comfortable sofas provide the heart of the home. When you run out of conversation, there is a Smart TV to watch your favourite films.
The kitchen/diner is a cook’s dream and perfect for rustling up some tasty treats. On the first floor, you’ll find a family bathroom and three bedrooms: one super-king-size with a TV and en-suite shower, one double and one single. Doors from the kitchen/diner lead out to the rear garden. The outdoor area offers a large lawned back garden with a table and chairs for evenings dining alfresco, while additional open space is available at the front of the property.
Frostenden is popular for fishing and offers local access to both fresh water and sea/pier fishing locations. The pretty market town of Beccles is 9 miles away and is your gateway to boat trips on the river Waveney to explore the southern Broads. Bird watchers will appreciate a visit to RSPB Minsmere (11.5 miles), and walkers can enjoy access to the Suffolk Coast Path at nearby Walberswick Beach (6 miles) with a lovely walk towards Dunwich.
