The Malvern Hills and nearby Bromyard Downs offer trails for all abilities, from gentle rambles to more challenging hikes with panoramic views. Water lovers can take to the local rivers and canals for scenic strolls, paddleboarding and picnics. The cathedral cities of Worcester (8 miles) and Hereford (22 miles) are steeped in history, with fascinating architecture, museums, and bustling independent shops and cafes. National Trust gems nearby include the Brockhampton Estate (7 miles) – a moated manor with orchards and woodland walks – and Croome Court (15 miles) with its stunning parkland designed by Capability Brown. Head to Bewdley (17.5 miles), home of the Severn Valley Steam Railway, where you can step back in time on a vintage train ride.
