Stride out on the coastal path and you can reach Beadnell Bay to the south in 2.5 miles, a scenic spot perfect for picnics, rock pooling or trying out water sports. Bamburgh, with its beach and castle, is 3.5 miles to the north. Craster, 10.5 miles away, is famous for its seafood, while in the historic town of Alnwick, there are shops and restaurants to explore as well as the famous castle and gardens. For something different, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne is 19.5 miles away, accessible only via the causeway at low tide.
Enter through the front door and hang your coats in the hallway before strolling into the light and airy living space. At the far end, the kitchen includes everything you’ll need to prepare delicious meals, including a handy dishwasher and a washer/dryer for any holiday laundry. Enjoy your meals at the dining table for four, then relax on the comfortable sofas, perhaps picking up a book or a board game from the shelves or streaming a show on the Smart TV. A handy WC completes the ground floor. Upstairs, the two bedrooms are decorated in soft, pastel shades to foster a good night’s sleep, both with ample storage and the twin boasting distant sea views. A shared family bathroom, which has a shower over the bath, completes the layout.
Immediately outside the front door is a small bench seat where you can sit and enjoy some fresh air. This cottage has allocated parking for one car in the shared courtyard.
