Adventurers will be thrilled to find mountain biking (5.5 miles), quad biking (16.5 miles), zip-lining (16 miles), and even skiing (21 miles) available nearby. Those who prefer endurance challenges can take on the Cairngorm Mountaini Munro hike, approximately 29 miles away. If high-energy adventure isn’t your idea of a good time, take things at a gentler pace with scenic walks around local lochs (10 miles), the RSPB Insch Marshes (9 miles), or the historic hilltop ruins of Ruthven Barracks (9 miles). For a relaxing day out, enjoy a visit to the Highland Folk Museum (6 miles) or the Highland Wildlife Park (12 miles), or sample a wee dram at the Dalwhinnie Whisky Distillery (5 miles).
