A stay in this bright and breezy holiday home tucked away in a quiet mews in Cromer promises plenty of family-friendly fun by the sea. This charming Victorian town is packed with personality, offering a mix of independent shops, inviting pubs, and tempting restaurants to discover. The traditional seafront, less than a 5 minute stroll away, is a popular favourite with a wide sandy beach, scenic promenade, family amusements, and the iconic Cromer Pier, home to one of the last end-of-pier theatres in the country. For wildlife lovers, Amazona Zoo is just under a mile away, where you can meet over 200 animals from South America. If you’re feeling active, the Norfolk Coast Path boasts stunning walking routes along dramatic clifftops and through coastal villages. For a more leisurely day, pack a picnic and explore the parkland at the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall (3 miles), a magnificent stately home with beautiful grounds for little legs to roam. Golf enthusiasts can tee off with sea views at the Royal Cromer Golf Club, 1.5 miles from home.
Step through the courtyard garden and enter this welcoming cottage through the rear entrance, straight into a cheerful yellow kitchen/diner that sets a warm tone for your stay. It’s a sociable space for cooking and gathering, and just off the kitchen, you’ll find a handy study with a desk and a sofa – ideal for a quiet read, remote working, or sneaking in an afternoon nap. Continue through to the light-filled lounge, an airy room with two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV for relaxed evenings after a day exploring the coast or countryside. Head upstairs to the first floor, where restful nights await. The master bedroom features a sumptuous king-size bed, while the twin bedroom creates flexible sleeping arrangements for families or friends. A royal-blue family bathroom with both bath and shower completes the upstairs layout.
Outside, the private courtyard garden is a lovely spot for your morning coffee or an evening drink, with patio furniture ready and waiting. Parking is available in a public car park just a few hundred metres away, leaving you free to enjoy your holiday at your own pace.
