This stylish cottage is in the waterfront town of Amble on the beautiful Northumberland coast. The pet-friendly holiday home welcomes six guests, making it perfect for large families and groups of friends. Just a short stroll away (0.5 ml), you’ll find the town’s harbour village, where you’ll find an array of retail pods selling handmade gifts and local produce. It’s also a great place to source fresh seafood for your supper. Alternatively, dine in one of the town’s independent restaurants or pick up some tasty fish and chips. From the harbour, you can also join a boat trip around Coquet Island where, depending on the time of year, you can see the resident seals and puffins. Nearby attractions include Warkworth Castle (1.5 miles), Druridge Bay Country Park (3 miles), and Alnwick Castle and Gardens (9 miles).
The terraced cottage is decorated in a contemporary style, with tones to complement the coastal landscape and little nautical touches throughout the property. After a day at the beach, unwind in the inviting lounge, where comfortable seating is set around a Smart TV and a roaring wood burner. To the rear of the cottage is a stylish kitchen with everything needed to rustle up a delicious feast for the group, which you can share in the separate dining room where you’ll find a large table to seat everyone and another cosy wood burner. Upstairs, three tastefully decorated bedrooms await, all with plenty of storage for your holiday attire. Choose from a king-size, a double, or a twin that can also be made up as a super-king-size on request. Completing the accommodation is a chic shower room.
Outside, the enclosed courtyard garden is a lovely spot for a sundowner or an al fresco dinner on a balmy summer’s evening. Free on-street parking is available nearby.
