Beech Cottage at Fir House is nestled in the grounds of the owners' property enjoying its own space and tranquillity. This stunning luxury property has been styled and furnished to the highest standard and offers fantastic accommodation with under floor heating, a wood burning stove for chillier evenings and a chic en-suite shower room. The kitchen is fully equipped and the property has a lovely terraced area for outside dining and relaxation. Nature lovers can walk from the doorstep into Angley Woods or into the small town of Cranbrook, boasting a famous Union Windmill which has been restored as a working museum. Cranbrook High Street is accessible by foot and offers a wide range of shopping including a Michelin star restaurant, coffee shops, a delicatessen and an ale house serving local beers, ciders and wine. The surrounding countryside is dotted with National Trust sites, famous gardens and castles and there is also a golf course and fishing lakes close by. In Tenterden climb on board one of the beautifully restored carriages of a steam train and enjoy a journey through the pretty Rother Valley to Bodiam Castle or plan a tour of one of our must-visit vineyards and breweries. Trains to London and the coast are available from Staplehurst station 5 miles away.
