This wonderful, spacious and cosy family home is situated in the centre of a quiet hamlet 6 miles from Aldeburgh. This traditionally styled property has so much to offer. With a gorgeous garden with a raised deck and charming features throughout the interiors, every guest will feel right at home upon arrival. Ideally situated for an array of activities, you’ll find the shingle shores of Dunwich Beach just 4 miles away, offering access to the scenic trails of the Suffolk Coast Path and the famous nature reserve at Minsmere.
The heart of the home is the open-plan living space, beautifully styled with two large leather sofas and a feature exposed brick fireplace at its centre. Made for socialising, the kitchen is a warm and welcoming area with a cosy window seat, breakfast bar and all the facilities you’ll need to prepare a family feast served up in the dining room. Conveniently, there is a cloakroom downstairs fitted with a shower, WC and washing facilities. Moving up to the first floor there is a tastefully decorated king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. A further twin room which can be made up as a double upon request, and a standard double room complete the sleeping arrangements both decorated in a calming country style. Completing the layout is a neutral family bathroom with a shower over the bathtub. The garden has been thoughtfully designed to extend the living space with numerous seating areas paired with planters creating a tranquil space to kick back and relax.
This property is well situated to allow for exploration of both the coast and the countryside. Minsmere (2 miles) is a haven for wildlife, and bird watchers will love the opportunity to visit RSPB Minsmere for a day out. Visit Southwold (13 miles) for a quintessential day out at the seaside where you’ll find vibrant beach huts and a picturesque pier. Alternatively, make a trip to Thorpeness (6 miles) to walk beside the Hundred River, partake in a game of golf or simply sit and relax on the beach.
