Inside the cottage, you'll discover a welcoming retreat offering ample space for relaxation. The living room beckons you to unwind on its two comfortable sofas gathered around the crackling wood burner. Adjacent to the living room, an open-plan kitchen/diner awaits, with a large window overlooking the garden. The ground floor also features a convenient shower room. Upstairs, you'll find three inviting bedrooms; a king-size room, a twin room, and a single room. Access to the single room is through the twin room, making it an ideal arrangement for families. Outside, guests will delight in the enchanting garden, which offers two distinct sections. Immediately behind the kitchen lies a lawn, complete with a table and chairs. Beyond the lawn, a sun-drenched patio awaits, boasting a delightful summerhouse, a BBQ, and additional seating arrangements. This idyllic setting invites families to come together, cook, and dine alfresco.
Immerse yourself in the town's vibrant ambience, with its sandy beach lined with picturesque painted beach huts. Stroll along the promenade, ice cream in hand or explore the iconic pier, complete with retro amusements. Southwold also boasts an array of captivating shops as well as inviting cafes, pubs, and restaurants. During the summer months, take the foot passenger ferry to the neighbouring seaside village of Walberswick (2 miles), renowned for its scenic beauty and inviting sandy beach. Further afield, the RSPB’s Minsmere Reserve (11.5 miles) is a wonderful day out for nature lovers, with its Discovery Centre offering plenty of fun-filled family activities.
