This idyllic coastal retreat is just 0.5 miles from the glorious, family-friendly beach at Kennack Sands offering superb coastal views across the peninsula. Sleeping four guests across two beautifully styled bedrooms, the property is the ideal holiday home for families and friends seeking a stylish base from which to explore Cornwall. You’ll be perfectly placed for adventures on the wild and remote Lizard Peninsula, with its dramatic coastal paths, quaint fishing villages like Cadgewith, and picture-postcard beaches, such as Kynance Cove and Poldhu, 5 miles away. The picturesque Porthleven is 15 miles away and is renowned for its excellent seafood restaurants and vibrant arts scene. Other day trips from the property include Pendennis Castle, Lizard Point, the Mullion harbour, Helford River, the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, and the National Trust’s Penrose Estate, all within 20 miles.
From the shared hallway, head up the staircase or lift to the second floor and enter this impressive, open-plan holiday home. The main living area is a bright and spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with a vaulted ceiling, wooden floors, and a vast picture window framing beautiful coastal views. The sleek kitchen area has everything needed for a successful self-catering getaway, and you’ll find a central dining table for sharing mealtimes as a group. Set next to the dual-aspect windows is a comfortable lounge area with plump sofas and a Smart TV and Xbox, for enjoying movie nights with the family. When day turns to night, retire to one of two tranquil bedrooms – a double and a twin – both of which boast views across the surrounding landscape and coastline. The double bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, and rounding off the property is a refreshing family bathroom.
Although there is no dedicated outdoor space, you have the South West Coast Path on your doorstep and the sandy beach just 0.5 miles away, so you’ll have plenty of choice when it comes to your morning walk. The holiday home has allocated parking for one car.
