The harbour is the heart of Brixham; it’s home to the local fishing fleet and is the departure point for boat trips around Torbay, where lucky travellers may even spot dolphins. The town boasts an excellent choice of restaurants, many serving freshly caught seafood. History lovers can step aboard the replica of Sir Francis Drake’s Golden Hind or explore the fascinating Blackbeard’s Trail. Breakwater Beach itself is popular for fishing and offers a cafe, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the coastal charm.
