Settle into this tranquil coastal-themed, three-storey cottage with sea views, a balcony and a sheltered shared courtyard with a BBQ ready to be fired up. Whisk away five of your loved ones to the traditional seaside town of Southwold for a relaxing break filled with beach days, seafood dinners and nature walks.
The main living space is on the first floor, where you’ll plush sofas in a bright and airy lounge in front of a SmartTV, feature fireplaces and tall sash windows. Behind this seating area is a dining table with seating for six, where you can share a takeaway or home-cooked meal. Continue into the well-organised kitchen with shaker-style cabinets and a breakfast bar to enjoy a pick-me-up from the espresso coffee machine. Also on this floor is a family bathroom plus a double bedroom. There is also a king-size bedroom with a door that opens up onto the garden plus an en-suite on the ground floor and a king-sized bedroom with a balcony on the second floor. Outside is an enclosed courtyard with a BBQ and furniture.
During your stay in Southwold, the beach plus an array of restaurants and cafes are all within 0.5 miles. Discover the historical landmarks of the town – such as the Southwold Cannons and the lighthouse (0.5 miles). There is also a museum, model boat pond and cinema to keep you busy. For an adventure, you can hire a boat and see the coast from the water. Visit the Benacre National Nature Reserve (5.5 miles) and walk around the lagoons while spotting the migratory bird species. Tour the abundance of nearby beaches – such as the expansive Covehithe Beach (5.5 miles) and Dunwich Beach (9 miles).
