Nearby Tissington Trail, 3 miles away, provides a traffic-free route for walking or cycling through rolling countryside. Alternatively, pack a picnic for a day out at Carsington Water, which offers lakeside trails and wildlife-spotting opportunities and is less than 10 miles away. With so many trails and beauty spots close by, this is an ideal base for exploring the best of the Peak District.
