With contemporary and sophisticated styling, this spacious property is the perfect group getaway to discover the scenic West Norfolk countryside. It is ideal if you are looking for a peaceful base to enjoy numerous outdoor activities, with walking, cycling, fishing and wildlife spotting on your doorstep. The picturesque village of Outwell is well-served by shops, restaurants, and pubs. Historic Downham Market (6 miles), dating back to Saxon times, has beautiful buildings to discover, walks along the River Ouse and plenty of independent shops to browse.
Enter this gorgeous two-storey retreat into a large, welcoming, open-plan living area. There is ample comfortable seating to snuggle up on in front of the TV, a bar for evening fun and a pool table for competitive fun. Share laughter and each other’s company as you linger over delicious home-cooked meals at the dining table. The contemporary kitchen has everything you need to whip up tasty treats, plus a handy breakfast bar with seating. A second dining area is ideal for a quiet breakfast. A shower room and two en-suite bedrooms – one king-size and one twin – complete the downstairs features. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms – three king-size and one twin – all with en-suite shower rooms. Outside is a wraparound courtyard, a private hot tub, a BBQ, and seating for dining alfresco. This luxurious barn is part of a small complex on the site of an old Benedictine Priory. There is access to an acre of the owner’s land outside for walking or spotting wildlife.

The historic towns of King’s Lynn (19 miles), with its fascinating maritime history and Ely (20 miles), with a cathedral and a country park, are both must-see destinations. Welney Wetlands Wildlife Reserve (10 miles) is lovely for walks and nature enthusiasts, while Denver Windmill (7 miles) is ideal for cream teas. The splendid King’s Estate at Sandringham is 24 miles away.
