Head to the nearby village of Gressenhall (3 miles) to discover 50 acres of unspoilt countryside with walks along a river valley, woodland footpaths and country trails at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse. Fakenham, the largest market town in Norfolk, can be reached within 12.5 miles and offers an excellent selection of charming boutiques and local cafes and restaurants. The call of the coast is never far; the gloriously sandy shores of Brancaster and Heacham can be reached within 30 miles.
