The larger village of Eyam is only 2 miles away and boasts a shop to restock on essentials, a pub for refreshments after a day's adventures, and several tearooms offering speciality teas, coffees and cakes. For a spot of retail therapy, head to the refreshing spa town of Buxton (11 miles) and explore the bustling high street and local markets. Whilst there, be sure to visit Poole's Cavern and Buxton Country Park, where you can tour a mesmerising natural cavern underground, and above ground, try the treetop zip-wire adventure. History enthusiasts will enjoy a visit to Haddon Hall (8.5 miles), one of the country's best-preserved medieval houses. For avid walkers and cyclists, there are scenic routes from the doorstep as well as trails nearby. The Monsal Trail can be accessed from Bakewell (6.5 miles) and follows a decommissioned railway for 8.5 miles.


Walking up the steps, you will enter a beautiful open-plan space, lovingly crafted on site to provide a relaxing glamping experience. Unwind on the sofa in front of a crackling wood burner, enjoying the ambience of this lovely retreat. A TV is perfectly positioned for viewing from the double bed, and the well-equipped kitchen allows you to prepare meals with ease. For your convenience, there is an en-suite shower room featuring a thermostatic shower.


Outside, a walled private patio area offers bistro-style seating, ideal for enjoying the fresh air. For a touch of indulgence, relax in the wood-fired hot tub, nestled in a secluded area beside the hut.
