Step inside this contemporary lodge to find a meticulously designed open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner adorned with a breathtaking double-height ceiling and streaming with natural light. The kitchen is sleek and well-appointed with all the equipment needed to rustle up romantic dinners for two. Catch up on the day's events around the charming dining table before the lovely lounge area beckons weary muscles. Sink into the plush sofa and binge a box set, or climb into the hot tub on the enclosed balcony under starry skies. At bedtime, venture upstairs to the mezzanine super-king-size bed. This superb space is adorned with characterful exposed beams and boasts fantastic views. In the morning, freshen up in the stylish shower room. Private parking is available for one car.
Set within 2.5 acres, the property is surrounded by idyllic grounds to explore. Further afield, Offa's Dyke Trail is just 4.5 miles to the east, making it an excellent base for walkers. Climbers are also well-served, with Allt y Main and Y Golfa just over 12 miles away. If you prefer a slower pace, then a visit to the renowned 13th-century fortress of Powis Castle is a must, while those seeking shopping opportunities will love perusing the shops at Montgomery (3 miles), where independent boutiques combine with many cafés and pubs for a bite to eat.
