Grange Studio, Sestriere - Grange Sises, Italy

Escape to the mountains in this first-floor studio in the heart of the charming resort of Grange Sises. The studio can sleep up to 4 people, so makes an excellent holiday base for friends or family at any time of year.

In a contemporary residence, this studio is well equipped for a comfortable holiday. The front door opens into an open living area, with a sofa and flat-screen TV. The dining table seats 4 people and is next to the kitchenette, which has a cooker hob, microwave, oven, Nespresso machine and fridge.

Sleeping
At the end of the living area, separated by a screen, there is a double sofa bed and extensive wardrobes.
There is also a bunk bed next to the bathroom.

The tiled bathroom has a shower, basin, bidet, washing machine and WC

Location
Grange Sises is a pretty, small-ish resort, just a 5-minute drive from the town of Sestriere. The residence is in the middle of the village, close to the small piazza. There is very little traffic, making it an ideal place for families with children. Grange Sises hosts many events throughout the year, from dances to concerts and group mountain bike rides.

Sestriere, home of the 2006 Winter Olympics, has much to offer. In the winter months, the slopes around the resort suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing.

Summer visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows. There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming.

There are many great restaurants and bars in Grange Sises and Sestriere, which will suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities.

Turin airport is a 1-hour and 30-minute drive from the apartment.
