We are a family from Malta who fell in love with the peaceful landscape of the Münsterland. What started as a simple getaway turned into something much more meaningful for us. This apartment is not just a holiday rental — it is our own retreat in the greenery, a place where we come to slow down, recharge, and spend quality time together as a family.

Living on a Mediterranean island, we truly appreciate the contrast: wide open countryside, fresh forest air, long walks, cycling routes, and the calm rhythm of village life in Brochterbeck. We enjoy hiking in the Teutoburg Forest, having relaxed breakfasts on the balcony with a view, and cozy evenings indoors after a day in nature.

Because we use the apartment ourselves, it was important to us to design it as a real home — bright, comfortable, spacious, and fully equipped. We try to think of the details that make a stay easy and enjoyable, whether you’re visiting for relaxation, remote work, outdoor activities, or family time.

Although we are based in Malta, hosting is something we genuinely enjoy. We love welcoming guests from different countries and helping them discover this beautiful region. To make your arrival flexible and stress-free, we offer a simple self check-in process, and we have trusted local assistants nearby should you need anything during your stay.

Brochterbeck is a small, peaceful village surrounded by the rolling hills and forests of the Teutoburg Forest region. The landscape is characterized by wide meadows, gentle slopes, traditional farmhouses, and dense woodland — a setting that immediately creates a sense of calm.

What we enjoy most about the area is the space and the fresh air. You can step outside and be on a hiking or cycling trail within minutes. The Teutoburg Forest offers beautiful walking paths, panoramic viewpoints, and quiet forest routes that change character with every season — vibrant green in spring, warm and golden in autumn, and peacefully misty on cool mornings.

Despite its tranquility, Brochterbeck is well located. The charming town of Tecklenburg with its historic old town and open-air theatre is just a few minutes away. Münster and Osnabrück are also within easy reach, offering culture, shopping, and restaurants — yet when you return, you come back to silence and nature.

For us, the highlight is the balance: rural calm without isolation. Mornings start with birdsong and open views across the countryside, and evenings end with quiet sunsets over the fields. It is a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and truly switch off.

What truly sets our property apart is the combination of generous space, thoughtful layout, and immediate access to nature.

With approximately 120 m² of living space spread over two levels, the apartment offers far more room than most holiday rentals in the area. The layout creates a clear separation between social and private areas, making it ideal for families, small groups, or longer stays.

There are three comfortable double bedrooms, two of which have direct access to the private garden, allowing you to step outside into the greenery straight from your room. This connection to nature is something guests especially appreciate.

The upper level features a spacious 45 m² living area filled with natural light, along with a balcony offering open countryside views — perfect for morning coffee or relaxing evenings. The apartment also includes a full family bathroom (with shower and bathtub) plus an additional separate guest toilet, which adds a significant level of comfort for groups.

The property has been freshly refurbished, combining a modern, bright interior with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Finally, the location is a major highlight: you are just a few minutes’ walk from the Teutoburg Forest, with hiking and cycling trails practically at your doorstep — yet still close to the village center.
