We had a great stay on Lake Keowee. We were in town for Clemson family weekend. Although it’s a little bit of a drive from Clemson (30 min), it was a great getaway for my freshman and a serene setting. We used the grill and he was excited to have a home cooked meal. The Keurig coffee maker was nice to have in the morning while we enjoyed coffee sitting on the dock or under the pavilion watch the peaceful waters of the lake. Kayaking was fun and the water was warm. The Charming Lake Keowee Retreat may seem little, but it packs a big punch! It is well equipped with most everything you need outside of your food and drink. You may want to bring some bug spray for mosquitos, as it is on the lake, and beware of the spider webs! They grow ‘em big in SC!!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house, property, and location delivered beyond our expectations. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The house was very clean and well-stocked with coffee, plenty of cookware, a ton of towels, and toiletries. I really enjoyed the indoor/outdoor sound system and all of the outdoor sitting areas. We had no need to contact the host for anything throughout our entire stay. Lastly, Lake Keowee is beautiful! We will stay here again.

We absolutely love the lake cabin! This is our 4th time staying and it is just as wonderful every time. The cabin has everything you could possibly need or want. We love to have drinks and charcuterie board on the dock and enjoy swimming and relaxing. It truly is a magical spot!

Absolutely amazing views, quiet location and the calmest water we’ve ever seen. The lake was 90 degrees all week and the coolest color emerald green, you could see your toes when swimming so clear! The house was fully stocked with any supply or kitchen item you might need. The beds were comfortable, the loft bedroom was a great use of space! We loved morning coffee down on the porch by the lake.

It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful setting. Property was equipped with everything you could even think about needing. Though the property was not very big the efficient use of space was remarkable. This is the perfect getaway for couple or a small family. Would book this one again!

Sweetest family time on the lake

We had the sweetest stay at Dani’s home. The house was pristine, with everything we could need. Dani’s communication was excellent. The dock, sand area, fire pit, were all incredible additions to our vacation. We will be back.

Doesn’t get much more relaxing!

As before our stay was perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, the outdoor spaces are amazing and we pull our boat right up to the dock and run in for whatever we need and back out on the lake. We love walking around the area as well.

Perfect Place but Unperfect Weather

Great place with great access to the lake, however our weather wasn’t cooperating and we couldn’t do much of what we wanted to do, so we ended up leaving early. Not a reflection on Dani or the property at all, just luck of the draw. The property was good and mostly clean, just some dusting that needs to be addressed behind countertop appliances and gnats/fruit flies stuck to the top of the stovetop light and on the rim of the freezer. All in all, good property, would love to come back when the weather actually is nice to go out in the lake and enjoy it.

Great Lake weekend!

House was small but comfortable and had everything we needed. So nice to have the dock, kayaks and comfortable sitting area by the water. My kids were very happy fishing and playing in the water. Thank you for having us!

Perfect lake escape

Cute, clean and well stacked lake house, perfect for a family with kids/teens. The kayaks were available for use, fire pit was a hit, water very clean with amazing views. The place is very serene. We rented a boat one day 30 minutes from the house and had an amazing time on the lake. Highly recommended. The location is perfect and about 20 min drive to groceries/restaurants ...

Absolutely stunning! Views were just amazing! Dani had everything in the house you will need while being on vacation. Beds were very comfortable. Space was perfect for me, my husband and daughter.

Lake Keowee Cabin

This property is just what we were looking for. It was neat, clean, comfortable, and QUIET. Beautiful view of the lake from inside house to back porch to waterside to chairs in the dock. Magical! Thank you, Dani.

Beautiful Lake house!

What an amazing week we had staying at Dani’s beautiful lake house! She literally has thought of everything. Fully stocked kitchen, clean comfortable bedrooms and a great bathroom with laundry! But the really fun stuff is the beautiful property and lake views. We also enjoyed the kayaks, boat dock and fire pit area. It was literally one of the coolest getaways we’ve had. Dani is an incredible host!

Comfort retreat!

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable restored cabin feel lakehouse. Everything was exactly as pictured. The host was gracious and left a perfect basket of treats for us to enjoy. We made good use of the kayaks and ended our evening using the comfortable fire pit area.

Most amazing getaway

My hubby & I spent 5 days at this absolutely perfect cottage on Lake Keowee. We found it to be more than spacious enough for the two of us & each room was extremely well thought out to maximize the space! Anything you could need for your stay is provided which was so nice. Any questions we did have, Dani was very responsive & so very helpful. We were there to have a relaxing & quiet vacation and this property was PERFECT! We fell in love with Lake Keowee & particularly all the amenities outside the home & the expansive lake frontage (and privacy) We LOVED the comfy outdoor couch under the gazebo and spent our early mornings & late evenings down there having our coffee or cocktails, listening to music and just enjoying the beautiful lake & mountain views. The home is equipped with Bluetooth speakers that work outdoors so for music lovers like us it was awesome to be able to enjoy our music while hanging on the outdoor couch, the dock or when using the fire pit. We rented a pontoon & explored Lake Keowee every day and FELL IN LOVE. We would find our own little cove, anchor off, and swim, drink & listen to music. My hubs who is definitely not as outdoorsy as me, mentioned that he wasn't checking work emails or playing on his phone all week because this property is just so conducive to enjoying the outdoors & livin' the lake life. As we were leaving he actually asked me if I thought Dani would be interested in selling....that's how amazing this place is! WE WILL BE BACK :)

My husband and I live in Asheville NC with our two children teenage girl and 11yrs old boy. We enjoy spending time with our kids and friends at the lake. It's our way to get away from the everyday busy life and stress. The time and memory made at the lake are priceless and the time really stops at the lake.:)
When we bought the lake place it had an old barn that was not habitable. We are very proud of the work we put into this little cottage and would like to share it with our guests. We hope you enjoy your stay at our charming lake retreat!
