2 Bed in Pwllheli (oc-h32071)
Located within 0.5 miles from Pwllheli’s vibrant marina and sandy beach, this delightful 19th-century cottage provides a perfect retreat for couples and small families seeking coastal adventures and Welsh charm. Set in a breathtaking corner of the Llyn Peninsula, this dog-friendly property offers easy access to coastal and country beauty spots. With a pet-friendly beach nearby and a lively town centre full of shops and eateries, it’s ideal for those who love walking, water sports or simply soaking up the seaside atmosphere.
Laid out over two storeys, this mid-terrace cottage is brimming with character – think exposed stone walls, original wooden beams and a striking inglenook fireplace with a wood-burner-effect gas fire for cosy nights in. After days bursting with Welsh adventures, unwind in the quirky lounge, which offers a charming social space for your group. The adjoining kitchen has everything you need for holiday cooking, then head up to the first-floor dining area or outside to the private deck to dine alfresco. When night falls, a restful double bedroom and cosy bunk room invite you upstairs; they’re served by a ground-floor shower room. Outside, a private deck with bistro table and chairs offers a delightful spot for drinks or casual meals in the salty sea air, while on-street parking is available at ground level.
The bustling seaside town of Pwllheli makes a great base with a marina, market, and a wide choice of shops and eateries, while the dog-friendly beach is perfect for dog walks and family beach days. World-class sailing and stunning beaches can be found at Abersoch (7.5 miles), while the surf spots of Porth Ceiriad and Porth Neigwl are within 10 miles. Keen walkers and cyclists will appreciate the proximity to Snowdonia/Eryri National Park, with its western fringes just 10 miles away.
