Benefitting from far-reaching views over the river, plus many original features and plenty of room for friends and family, this dog-friendly cottage is a great base for an adventure in Looe. The South West Coast Path is easily accessible within half a mile of your doorstep for adventures walking along the Cornish coast, be it towards Fowey (10 miles) or Seaton Beach (5 miles) to see the breathtaking scenery found in this part of the country.


As you enter the property, you’re greeted by the spacious entrance hall which has plenty of space to take off your shoes and put down your bags. From here, you’ll find the living room/diner, with its large windows allowing light to flood the room, comfortable seating for all the family and a TV. With pale green walls and white furnishings, this space has a calming atmosphere, mirrored by the dining area which seats eight. The kitchen is a light, bright room with a warm feel from the natural wood. There is space for four to sit up at the breakfast bar on the kitchen island, as well as all of the modern conveniences you’ll need to cook up a storm morning, noon and night. Finishing off the first floor is a utility room and a cloakroom offering additional storage for your stay. Upstairs, one of the two king-size bedrooms has a glorious bay window with a wide sill for you to sit and soak up the views whilst the other boasts an en-suite shower room. In addition, there is a twin room and a bunk room, both of which have crisp white decor and are great for children of all ages. The final room on the second floor is the luxurious tiled bathroom with a deep bathtub which is the perfect place to unwind after a day of adventure. Outside, you’ll find a decked terrace with furniture for al fresco dining to ensure maximum enjoyment of this wonderful location.


Looe itself has so much to offer from a busy market and a great selection of independent eateries to water sports on the beach and boat trips from the harbour, all of which are within a mile of this holiday home. For a daytrip further inland, head to Bodmin Moor (19 miles) to explore the fascinating local history and rural landscapes, or be transported to another country whilst walking through the tropical biomes at the Eden Project (22 miles) which mimic the Mediterranean and rainforest environments.
