Step inside to be greeted by a large lounge with two separate sitting areas. Furnished with plenty of soft seating, a Smart TV and, of course, the fantastic wood burner, you can while away so many relaxing evenings in here. For those who wish to cook at home, the kitchen is just next door with a large dining table to sit around. There’s also the option of heading out into the garden to eat alfresco. As well as two bedrooms on the first floor, a king-size and a twin, the property is completed by a ground-floor WC and a shared family bathroom upstairs.

With its working fishing port, pristine sandy beaches and exceptional seafood restaurants, Looe is a marvellous town that you’ll want to return to time and again. Pack a bucket and spade for visiting East Looe Beach (1 mile) or take a trip to the Looe Island Nature Reserve (1 mile) to admire rare sea birds and mighty basking seals. To see the local area from a different angle, hop aboard The Looe Valley Line to visit nearby Liskeard (8 miles).
