5 Pines Farmhouse es verdaderamente un lugar único y especial en Madeline Island. En 2017, después de un año de renovaciones, 5 Pines fue completamente destripado y ahora se actualiza con nuevos electrodomésticos, baños, pisos, muebles, ropa de cama y más.

The Farmhouse se encuentra a 2 millas del centro de La Pointe, lo suficientemente cerca para andar en bicicleta. This property is absolutely beautiful! It's private with the most beautiful views. The lake is just a few minute walk and there are ample spaces on the property to relax and enjoy the island. The beds and pillows were high quality and the property was in great condition! Sara was an absolute joy to work with - we look forward to staying here again.

This was our third stay at 5 Pines. Fabulous each time! The huge yard for games and close proximity to the water cannot be beat. And the dining porchis a delight morning, noon and night.

Wonderful stay

5 Pines was a wonderful get-a-way for our multigenerational family. We enjoyed the spacious yard, the short walk to the water, and the proximity to town. Just lovely!

We had a fabulous time at the five pines farm house. The amenities were perfect. We like to cook and the kitchen was well appointed. The house was perfect for our family and we loved the porch with the table that seats ten. We had dinner out there almost every night. The hosts were excellent. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Great location

We have stayed on Madeline many times over the years. The lactation of 5 Pines was fantastic. We loved being close to town and made the very short walk to Grant’s Point daily. The house was a great size for our family/friends. We really enjoyed the screen porch and screened in dining room. Sara, the host, was easily reached if needed and made sure to give us a “Welcome call”. We had everything we needed and we all enjoyed our stay.

Lovely spacious house, beautifully furnished, mostly well supplied, comfy beds. Lots of room to spread out for a larger group. Absolutely beautiful, peaceful setting! and easy drive to ferry. Easy check-in and out, responsive owner. Antiquated plumbing, with 1 tub/shower not functional. Cleanup from previous guests somewhat lacking.

Great house and location. Had a few problems, such as the website said that beach towels were provided then in fact they weren't. Not detergent for clothes washer. Owner communicated with us and even stopped by!

Farmhouse

This property was great. Lots of room for our big group. The yard and fire pit were used every day. The beach, only a short walk away, is awesome. The description is very accurate and the property owner was great to work with. We would definitely come back to the Farmhouse!

Wedding week at the Farmhouse

We stayed at the Farmhouse with a total of 11 friends who came from across Europe and the US to celebrate our wedding on Madeline Island. The house had everything we needed, was in a perfect location, and was spacious enough that it didn't feel cramped even with 11 adults sharing it. The owners were very communicative and helpful. We would highly recommend the Farmhouse!

Great Family Vacation

The farmhouse was perfect for my family stay at for our vacation. The owner was great came and introduced herself when we arrived and told us about the house. Tons of fun games and activities for kids and for the family to do together. Great location, close to town but also private and quiet. Tons of space for us inside the farmhouse. We all truly loved our time there.

Wonderful experience

Everyone in the family had an enjoyable time! The house had enough space for everyone. The beach was only a short walk down the road. We found plenty of fun activities to do on the island and in Bayfield. The kids loved all the outdoor games at the house! Sara and Peter were so helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed! They provided us with an A+ experience!

Can’t wait to come back

The Farmhouse is simply wonderful! There is everything you could possibly need in the house. Sara and Pete were very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend using the dining room table for meals. We will definitely be back!

Love the Farmhouse!

The Farmhouse is a special place on our favorite part of the island. Close enough to the water... close enough to town... yet far enough away to enjoy privacy. Sara and Pete were beyond generous and gracious with their hospitality and help when needed. We highly recommend the Farmhouse and hope you enjoy the magic of Madeline Island!

100% Amazing!!

Our family loved staying at 5 pines - we VRBO all over the country. So impressed with the charm of the farmhouse - amazing kitchen (with gas stove!) and lots of dried spices for guest use. Very well kept property - lots of old nick-nacks and some old photos - just fun to look at it all. And just steps away from the lake (the lake is literally <100 steps away the property edge -- you can hear the lake from the farmhouse). We spent a lot of time on the massive lawn - we brought corn hole to play - BBQd a few times and toasted marshmallows for S'mores in the outdoor firepit. Wifi worked well (and we were glad there is no TV on site). Owner Sara stopped by a few times to check on us and visit - so fun to hear stories about the farmhouse and her grandmother. And Madeline Island has so many activities for any age or interest. We visited LePointe (walking distance if you're a walker) and Bayfield and the state parks. We did kayak tours and the "big boat" tour of the Apostle Islands. Also visited the state park on Madeline Island. Highly recommend the "Town" Big Bay Park access - you can grab a canoe for $10/hour (pay by honor system - easy fast process) and paddle around the lagoon. FYI - no bikes or canoes or kayaks onsite at the farmhouse (need to bring your own or rent). We hope to be back!!

Area and house were great and exactly as listed, one minute walk to a nice little beach on the tip of the island. The holding tank filled and Sara was incredibly responsive so was not an issue at all. Would love to stay here again.

PERFECT

PERFECT!! Sara has thought of everything to make a family vacation special. We are a family of 7 adults with 2 year old and a 3 month baby and the delightful farm house met our needs perfectly. We all enjoyed gathering in the huge kitchen to make meals together. Yard games and campfires were the best. The beach is close enough to enjoy morning coffee, rock hunting, kayaking and hanging out. Town is close and easy to reach by bike. We all agree that this home will be rented again by our family.

Charming Farmhouse * Unbelievable Location

5 Pines Farmhouse was everything my family had hoped for and more. Waking up listening to the waves, spotting deer grazing along the fence line, walking our kayaks a few steps to Grant's Point for a sunrise paddle, amazing night walks on the beach and roasted marshmallows by the fire. Every summer for 15 years our family has been renting on Madeline Island and the farmhouse is now at the top of our favorites. The owners were kind, helpful and easy to work with. 5 Pines property is picture-perfect and a photographer's dream.... we look forward to staying here again.
