Nestled in the charming yet tranquil Porto de Mos area of Lagos, this apartment is a hidden gem nearby Porto de Mos beach. The main road offers a stroll, taking you to the beach in under 10 minutes. Porto de Mos is a gateway to the renowned cliffs of Lagos, including the iconic Ponte da Piedade. Lagos' bustling downtown area is also nearby this apartment.

Lagos is the quintessential holiday destination, featuring a vibrant historical center brimming with shops, supermarkets, a bustling marina, bars, and restaurants. The town is celebrated for its breathtaking cliffs, and we enthusiastically recommend exploring them from the water via boat, kayak, or SUP tours. Lagos showcases a picturesque historical center, delectable cuisine, and a welcoming community. Nestled along the coast, it offers numerous water sports opportunities, including surfing and sailing, making it the ideal location for all ages and preferences to indulge in a wide array of activities.

## Transit

You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier. You can park for free on and around the park.

Comfortable stay in Briso to Mos

We stayed two weeks in this apartment. The check-in was easy thanks to the key lock. The apartment was very clean, beautifully furnished and made us feel like home. The location is peacefully and not far from the beach if this is what you are looking for. We had a car, so it was nice to have a garage but also there was plenty of space at street. In addition to this, Rental Valley customer service was very attentive. Any questions we had, they helped us with withour delay. We will be happy to rent this again!

The property is up 34 steps and may be a challenge for those with limited mobility and although we were told about the work on the pool , the adjacent building site was not mentioned so the property was not as quiet as we hoped

Beautiful place just let down by lack of information and communication with managing company

The location is truly gorgeous, 10m walk from the beach which is beautiful. There are no shops in walking distance but a big supermarket is about 10m car ride away. We didn't have a car but there are plenty of Ubers. Apartment is really lovely and very comfortable. There are 3 flights of stairs and no lift which was not mentioned in the description. Fine for able bodied folk but not great for those with mobility issues, like one of our party who had just had a knee operation. There is also building work taking place directly opposite the apartment so there's noise you would expect to hear such as scraping, drilling, shouting. Again no mention of this in the description. The noise wasn't all the time but we certainly had a different experience on the Sunday which was their only day off. All in all we enjoyed our stay but I'm not impressed with the management company which also sent me automatic emails with broken links and didn't reply to any of my follow up emails, I didn't even know the address until 4 days beforehand when I had to contact HomeToGo for this information. I will be steering well clear of Rental Valley in future though I will be back to Lagos (pronounced Lagosh) soon. It's fabulous.

Schönes Appartement, ruhig mit Nähe zum Strand

Das Appartement liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, entspricht komplett der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Es ist großzügig und komfortabel mit den beiden Bädern. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, alles Notwendige vorhanden. Die Wohnanlage ist insgesamt sehr sauber und gepflegt. Zum Einkaufen braucht man allerdings ein Auto, es gibt keine Supermärkte fußläufig.
