St Julian’s sits on Malta’s northeast coast, just a short drive or bus ride from Valletta and close to Sliema, making it an excellent base for exploring the islands. The area is known for its beautiful bays, including Spinola and Balluta, where you’ll find a scenic seafront promenade, swim spots and relaxed waterfront cafés.



By day, you can enjoy coastal walks, boat trips and shopping, and in the evening the atmosphere shifts towards lively bars, wine lounges and restaurants along the bay. For a more energetic night out, Paceville—Malta’s main nightlife district with clubs and late-night venues—is just a short walk away, offering something for every mood.



Getting Around:

St Julian’s is well connected to the rest of Malta by public transport, with frequent buses to Valletta, Sliema and other key areas, as well as easy access to ferry links via nearby Sliema. Taxis and ride-hailing services are widely available for quick trips, while renting a car gives you maximum flexibility to explore beaches and villages across the island.



If you prefer a slower pace, walking and cycling along the promenade are relaxing ways to experience the coastline, with plenty of stops for coffee, gelato or a sunset drink on the way.

Submitting your eco tax online:

Eco tax, in line with Malta’s Environmental Contribution regulations, must be paid securely via our online payment link before arrival. A secure payment link is sent to you upon booking confirmation. For a smooth arrival, we recommend submitting your payment on the day you book, so you can then complete your Self Check‑In Form and gain access to our Guest Portal to start planning your stay.
