We were so fortunate to find Vlad’s place just in time for the World Pipe Band Championships at Glasgow Green, its location truly couldn’t have been more convenient. Bridgeton rail station is literally about a minute’s walk away, just behind the flat, which made getting around Glasgow incredibly easy. The flat itself was very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious for our family of four. Parking is on the street for those who have a car and it is free. Vlad was a fantastic host from start to finish. He made the entire process seamless, was very attentive and responsive, and you can genuinely tell how much care he puts into his home. He even took the time to give us helpful pointers about traveling around Glasgow and navigating the neighborhood, which we really appreciated.For fellow international travelers, just a small tip to keep expectations in mind: as with many homes throughout Europe, there may not be air conditioning or an elevator, and clothes are typically hung to dry. Having traveled extensively throughout Europe, these are things we are accustomed to and they didn’t take away from our experience. Between the location, spacious and clean flat, and Vlad’s hospitality, we had a wonderful experience and would happily recommend his place to anyone visiting Glasgow. Thank you Vlad, for helping make our time in Glasgow such a memorable one!
