The property is ideal for watersports, boasting a dedicated mooring, slipway, jetty and private beach. Designed for comfort, space, and relaxed gatherings, this beautifully appointed house sleeps up to eight guests and warmly welcomes two dogs, making it ideal for families or groups seeking a memorable West Coast escape. Downstairs, the heart of the home is the spacious open-plan kitchen, featuring a large central island that is perfect for sociable cooking and casual dining. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the sun lounge, where a door opens out to the garden and a generous window seat invites you to pause and take in the ever-changing sea views. This bright space is ideal for morning coffee or a quiet moment watching the boats pass through the Kyles. The dining room, also blessed with sea views, creates a wonderful setting for shared meals and evenings by the wood-burning stove. The lounge offers two distinct areas: one overlooking the water with another wood-burning stove for cosy nights in, and a quieter space at the rear, perfect for reading or unwinding in peace. Tucked away nearby is the snug, a hidden retreat, opening into the dining room, doubling as a relaxed hangout for teenagers or an additional bedroom with its small sofabed. There is a shower bathroom off the main entrance hallway. Upstairs, Failte offers four beautifully presented bedrooms. These include a kingsize bedroom, two super-king bedrooms that can be converted into twin beds, and a room with bunk beds. Two of the bedrooms enjoy wonderful sea views, and the floor is completed by two modern bathrooms, ensuring comfort for all guests. The village of Colintraive is relatively remote. Supermarkets in Dunoon will deliver. There is a very small and very limited shop which combines as a post office in the village. Guests can enjoy private use of the beach; a small slipway is available from the lawn and the larger, public slipway is accessible beyond the ferry port. A serviced mooring for up to 7 tonnes is available immediately off the house upon specific prior request. The surrounding area offers endless opportunities for exploration. Enjoy coastal walks, wildlife watching, and cycling on the Cowal Peninsula or take the short ferry over to the Isle of Bute. Nearby Dunoon offers shops, cafés, and attractions, while kayaking, sailing, and beachcombing are all close at hand. Failte provides an exceptional base for an unforgettable Highland coastal getaway.
