Following a comprehensive high-standard refurbishment in 2025, the property combines its original architectural character with modern, high-end finishes. Located on the quieter western edge of the Lake District National Park, it serves as a sophisticated and functional base for couples or small families looking to explore both the Cumbrian fells and the Irish Sea coastline.

The ground floor features a thoughtfully designed lounge, where traditional wood panelling and a classic open fire create a grounded and inviting atmosphere. This space is well-suited for relaxing after a day of hiking, equipped with a wall-mounted Smart TV and a selection of board games. A discrete circular dining table provides a dedicated space for morning coffee or evening meals, making the most of the cottage's period proportions.

The sleek galley kitchen has been efficiently planned to maximise both space and utility. It features an electric induction hob, modern cabinetry, and a full suite of appliances, including a Nescafé Dolce Gusto machine and a washer-dryer combo. Whether you are preparing a quick picnic for the beach or a full dinner, the kitchen is well-stocked with high-quality cookware, crockery, and glassware.

Sleeping arrangements are split across the upper levels to provide privacy and flexibility. On the first floor, you will find an airy bedroom featuring a king-size zip-and-link bed that can be configured as two singles upon request. This floor also benefits from a convenient separate WC. The 2025 update is evident throughout in the neutral decor and crisp, contemporary styling.

The second floor is home to a versatile twin bedroom tucked quietly under the eaves, which can also be converted into a king-size double.
