Disfrute de un entorno rural tranquilo con una vista imponente de las laderas circundantes. Esta encantadora cabaña cuenta con dos habitaciones (camas queen), un sofá cama plegable, además de un loft con una cama de día. Relájese en la terraza con vista al parque y al bosque de nueces.

Ubicada al lado del Rancho Rocky Hill, y en la ruta de la MS 150 anual, la cabaña se encuentra a poca distancia en bicicleta del Parque Estatal Buescher y a pocos minutos en automóvil del río Coloarado para practicar piragüismo, kayak, tubos o pesca.

La ciudad es Smithville, donde se filmó la película Hope Floats, y cuenta con maravillosas tiendas y restaurantes para pasear tranquilamente. El famoso BarBQ de Texas está justo bajando la calle junto con un auténtico restaurante mexicano.

Old Town Bastrop se encuentra a 30 minutos y no se debe perder.

Place was nice and quiet location. Kitchen items needed to be updated. Wifi was out when we got there. Otherwise it was a nice place.

Away from it all

Adventured from Florida to check-out Round Top TX and the antique extravaganza … this quaint country cottage , was centrally located to all the surrounding cities. It was very quiet and offered what we needed for the stay.

Beautiful property!

Lovely setting looking out at green pasture and a wooded area. Beds are comfortable with nice linens. Kitchen wasn't as clean as it could be. Pantry and laundry room doors splattered with something. Flatware tray with food splatters and crumbs. I cleaned it.

WONDERFUL STAY!

This was an amazing place to get out in the country and away from the city. Also, very close to the beautiful town Smithville which my husband and I adored. Colorado River is also very close making this spot a perfect nature getaway. We loved every minute.

Very peaceful and comfortable ♥️

While we were on the go quite a bit during our stay we were quite comfortable and enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the peace of being away from the noise and rush. Sipping coffee while watching for four legged visitors was a lovely way to start the day. We also appreciated the convenience of being closely located to Bastrop, Smithville and LaGrange. If your looking for a peaceful place to relax with the convenience of visiting multiple towns I highly recommend staying here!

Nice small house on a hill

Very clean small house on a hill a few minutes outside of Smithville. House had a nice view of the hillside with sone distant views. Coffee in the morning while watching the deer run is at his place. If you want to have some privacy stay at this place. Will come back.

Mom and daughter trip

This was the second time staying here and is a wonderful find. Beautiful scenery and the house has everything you need. Not far from antique shows in Round Top/Warrenton. Downtown Smithville had great antique shops and art galleries along with a general store that serves up some of the best specialty coffees you will ever taste. We saw deer on the property every evening that we were there, can’t say enough how relaxing and cozy this place is. Definitely will be back.

Bucolic Bungalow nearby to Bustling Burgh

Wonderful small house with everything you'd need for a weekend. Or a week. Beautiful, meadowed vista atop a rolling hill. Covered in springtime flowers. Close to downtown Smithville and several interesting sights. Be sure to reference Google Earth for a commanding view of an iconic neighbor!

My stay couldn't have been more perfect. It was clean and had all the amenities needed. I loved the location. It was nice, quiet, secluded. I did get to see some animals out in the pasture. The cottage had everything that you would need. I can't say enough great things about the property. I came for Susie's wedding. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I will be back very soon. Just as expected

The house was just as advertised. Very clean and we had everything that we needed. The drive is a little rough, but you are going through pastureland😎. Had no issues. Very nice little patio area to enjoy the sun and watch the cows and horses graze. Very relaxing. Would consider renting again.

A little disappointments!

We entered the cottage the silverware was dirty, the mini blinds over the sink is broken,could not shut. In the bathroom there are bugs in the exhaust fan light. Some of the towels had stains and some smelled like feet. The valve to turn the shower on broke but I fixed it to work momentarily! The positives are that the view was great, but no sunset cause of the rain... all the livestock and deer in the area were amazing. An amazing get away for sure if you love being outdoors.

Nice quiet area, zero communication from host, good Potential.

The structure was fine--cute and thoughtful, but the floor was littered with hundreds of small millipedes oddly enough. Nothin too crazy. We swept the whole place and carried on. It was clear that no one had given the place any attention in a while. There were cobwebs and dead bugs all around the corners of the ceiling. None of this was enough to upset me, but the following made me feel strongly that I deserved some kind of price break or rebate:ZERO communication from host.Key lock box not set to the correct code. We got lucky and guessed the right one after several failed attempts to speak to the host.No instruction on how to turn the water on or that it would be off in the first place.No instruction on where the water heater was or how to turn it on, or that it would be off in the first place.Internet did not work. MIFI device would not connect to the network.Direct TV was not subscribed to any channels, so literally no TV.Incorrect bedding supplied. We did not have a sheet big enough for one of the beds.I am not one to leave reviews typically, but this one was strange enough to warrant such action.Not a total loss though. The heater was warm; the views were stunning; and it still felt like a getaway.Thank you unresponsive host. Hope everything is okay in your world..We left the place better than we found it.

Country getaway

Everything was smooth with the process and communication. The owner was quick to respond to every question we had. The cabin was clean and comfortable. A word of warning about shopping in town, bring groceries from home if possible because the only supermarket in town is pricey. The city of LaGrange is a nice country drive away. You could do your shopping there and enjoy some of the best roads and scenery in Texas. What a state. I’m so glad to have been providentially born here. Remember the Alamo, remember Goliad.

Nice house in the country.

We really enjoyed staying at this house. The kids loved staying up in the loft. The house is situated on property that is very quiet and peaceful, and the cows were very welcoming. :) We would definitely stay here again.

Adorable Cottage in Smithville

We had such a wonderful stay at this very comfortable cottage. So close to the town of Smithville, but still the wonderful peace and quiet of being in the country. Good seating in the living room and a really spacious kitchen. Bedrooms are separated by a full bath. The sunsets were amazing and even though it was cloudy for us, I bet the dark skies for star-gazing are amazing, too. The cottage was very clean...plenty of towels, dishes and utensils. Host was responsive to any questions and even checked on us as a wonderful storm came though one night - and we felt secure and safe! We loved our weekend and would highly recommend this cottage.

Very clean and well presented, host quickly responded to some minor requests we had, the scenery is so beautiful and definitely covered all the details. Highly recommend staying here and we definitely plan on visiting again.
