Outside, there is an enclosed garden with patio, gravel and furniture, and roadside parking is available nearby. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, and this is a non‑smoking property. Within 0.2 miles you will find a shop, within 0.1 miles a pub, and the river within 0.2 miles. Deben Road is a pleasant base for exploring Woodbridge and the surrounding Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape.

The River Deben runs alongside the town and is popular for boating, walking and wildlife with wonderful views over to the National Trust site of Sutton Hoo. The town hosts a number of events throughout the year and is a wonderful place to visit.
