The Neighborhood:

Chrani is a quiet seaside village in Messinia that offers a relaxed mix of beach life, traditional Greek atmosphere, and easy access to some of the Peloponnese’s most interesting sights. Life here revolves around the sea and slow rhythms, with mornings spent swimming in the clear waters and evenings enjoying fresh seafood in small tavernas along the coast. The village itself has a long beachfront promenade and a one-kilometre stretch of shoreline with both sand and small pebbles, as well as hidden coves nearby that feel more secluded. Within 600m from the property a convenient supermarket can be found.

A variety of beaches can be found very close to Chranoi. Chrani Beach itself is right in the village and offers clear water with a mix of sand and pebbles. Just a short drive away is Peroulia Beach at approximately 6 km, known for its golden sand and calm waters, and Koroni Beach at around 10 km, a long sandy stretch near the historic castle town. Bouka Beach near Messini lies about 30 km away and is known for its length and open space, while the famous Voidokilia Beach is around 50 km from Chranoi and stands out for its unique semicircular shape and pristine environment.

Kalamata, the main city of the region, is located about 35 km from Chranoi and can be reached in under an hour by car.
