Acerca de este alojamiento
Grade II Listed Cottage & Garden, Evercreech
Summary:
This charming 300-year-old Grade II listed cottage in Evercreech seamlessly blends modern-classic design with rustic original features. Relax in cosy nooks, the library or by the wood burner. Cook meals in the quality farmhouse kitchen with AGA. Fling open the French doors and dine al fresco or in the adjacent dining room. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus WC, and private parking ensure comfort and convenience at this idyllic countryside escape.
The Space:
Steeped in history, this charming Grade II listed cottage in Evercreech dates back around 300 years and has been thoughtfully restored to combine period character with modern comfort. Original flagstone floors, exposed beams, sash windows and rustic wooden doors create a warm, authentic feel throughout, while careful renovation ensures a high standard of finish.
Inside, you’ll find plenty of inviting spaces to unwind, from window seats and reading corners to a peaceful library with a writing desk and armchairs. The cosy living room enjoys two seating areas. One with a wood burner and armchair - perfect for snuggling up with a book - and a second, larger area with a smart TV.
The shaker-style kitchen is both beautiful and practical, featuring a large AGA, classic butler sink and modern appliances, including a coffee machine. It opens into a welcoming dining area with farmhouse bench seating and wooden panelling.
A striking glass lean-to links the cottage to a converted outbuilding, now a spacious third bedroom with a small double and a mezzanine with a single bed above. It benefits from a downstairs WC just down the hall.
Upstairs are two further double bedrooms. Of which, one benefits from a luxurious ensuite shower room, plus there is a second family bathroom with a stunning twin sink vanity unit and a bath with overhead shower. You'll find a door at the bottom of the stairs which serves the same function as a stair gate.
In warmer months, open the French doors and enjoy al fresco dining in the secluded, fully enclosed garden. As such, it's well suited for dogs, which are welcome with a fee of £20/dog (maximum of two). Enjoy evenings around the fire pit come BBQ.
With private driveway parking to complete the package, this characterful cottage offers a memorable and convenient countryside retreat.
