Set in the grounds of the historic Plas Cilybebyll Estate, this property is ideally located for exploring all that south Wales has to offer.. All on the Ground Floor:

Large, enclosed, lawned garden with courtyard, patio, garden furniture and BBQ. 120-acre grounds (shared with other properties on-site). Bike store. Private parking. Wheelchair access. No smoking. Visit Wales 4 Star. Please note: There is a stream in the grounds.. These six holiday properties (refs 31182, 31183, 31184, 31185, UK6456 and UK6457) are situated on the working sheep and cattle farm that was once the home farm of the historic Plas Cilybebyll Estate. The cottages and barns, whose owners also live at the farm, are located between the Brecon Beacons National Park and Gower Peninsula. The traditional stone buildings are set in a courtyard, alongside the picturesque River Clydach where wildlife flourishes – heron, wild trout, dipper, squirrels and red kites have all been spotted from the cottage windows. The walks start on your doorstep, including the farm trail on-site, where guests are welcome to explore over 100 acres of private countryside that includes bluebell woodland, mountain streams and hillside pastures, with panoramic views of the Welsh countryside. There is much to explore in the surrounding areas and interests for all ages, such as The National Showcaves of Wales, the stunning beaches of the Gower (Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding National Beauty), the Victorian seaside resort of Mumbles with its promenade, and the Vale of Neath, which is renowned for its waterfall walks and for the energetic Afan Forest Park, home to 5 world-class trails for the mountain biking enthusiasts. The complex is conveniently located to enjoy day trips to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park or the spectacular Glamorganshire Heritage Coast. Swansea itself with its many bars, restaurants and shopping is within easy driving and Cardiff, the bustling capital city of Wales, is well worth a visit with its castle, museum and Millennium Stadium. Bwythn Y Saer can be booked together with Hafod Y Wennol (31183), Y Stabl (31184), Ty Cerbyd (31185), Lloc Lo (UK6456) and Ty Gambo (UK6457) to accommodate up to 26 guests. Beach 10 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub 1½ miles and restaurant 2 miles.
