There is a lovely sandy beach at Ganavan, just a mile’s drive along the coastal road. Dunollie, Dunstaffnage and Kilchurn castles are some of the nearby castles to visit as part of a day’s sightseeing. Further afield but within an hour’s drive, visitors can enjoy the scenery of Glencoe, take a trip to Fort William to see Ben Nevis or catch the steam train to Mallaig, or take a visit to Inveraray to enjoy the Castle or infamous jail.
