Rose Cottage is situated in the heart of the popular seaside village of Beadnell. This terraced cottage has an open plan living space covering the ground floor and is tastefully furnished throughout. A wood burner set within a large inglenook fireplace is perfect to snuggle in front of after a day exploring the stunning Heritage coastline this area is renowned for. All three bedrooms (one with the convenience of en-suite facilities) and a family bathroom are situated on the first floor and are immaculately presented throughout.

Beadnell is a popular holiday destination and offers local facilities including family friendly pubs serving good food all within easy walking distance from Rose Cottage. A small sandy bay speckled with rocky outcrops leads to a long sandy beach that stretches to Seahouses, 2 miles north. The wide expanse of golden sandy beach that Beadnell Bay is renowned for, is around half a mile away, a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, with sailing, sea kayaking, wind surfing and scuba diving all available. Beadnell Bay can truly be described as the jewel in Northumberland’s seaside crown: idyllic for a romantic barefoot stroll in the sand to listen to the waves lap against the shoreline and inhale the invigorating sea air. A couple of miles up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony, depart regularly from its harbour. There are several charming tea rooms here as well as, quaint pubs and shops. Horse-riding, fishing and golf on the links close by being only a sample of the many activities available in this popular location. Just a few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle (and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy!). Visitors will enjoy a trip to Alnwick Garden, a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden including the Grand Cascade waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe!
