Located in the picturesque village of Kames on the west coast of Scotland, this first floor holiday apartment is accessed via an exterior staircase and features three bedrooms. It is ideal for families or couples who are looking for modern comforts in a charming coastal location. Newly refurbished in 2022 to a very good standard, Findhorn exhibits modern décor and quality furnishings throughout, and has been designed to suit the discerning guest looking for that extra home comfort and style. The living room features stylish and contemporary furnishings where you can settle into comfortable sofas and gaze out through the large windows overlooking the famous Kyles of Bute - you can soak up the ever-changing vistas from this wonderful living space. For entertainment there is free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen features modern appliances which are perfect for cooking up a feast with delicious local produce. The kitchen area includes a small dining table seating four and a breakfast bar, making it a lovely space in which to gather. The three well-furnished bedrooms sleeps a maximum of four adults and one child under twelve years; two enjoy sea views and one has garden views. There is also a family shower room with a walk-in shower.
Outside, guests have their own private garden and a grassed area with outdoor furniture and side sea views. The back gate leads to local walks and the golf course. A maintained grassed area lies opposite the front garden on the shore front and leads to a pebble beach.
The apartment lies in an ideal position on the waterfront in Kames, fabulous for walks along the esplanade. It makes the perfect holiday getaway to relax in and escape from the rest of the world. A short walk away is a friendly hotel bar restaurant and welcoming locals. Kames is tucked away on Argyll’s ‘Secret Coast’, and nearby is the main street of Tighnabruaich where you will find local arts and crafts, cafés and further pubs. Bordered by Loch Fyne and the Kyles of Bute, this is an area of stunning natural beauty, with hills, glens, rugged coastlines, white beaches, clear waters and ancient forests. The whole area is steeped in Highland history and dotted with ruins, castles and ancient sites. Just over 4 miles away is Portavadie, the well known marina, with a leisure spa, indoor swimming pool, outdoor infinity pool, Jacuzzi and two restaurants. Further afield is Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, the Isle of Bute, and historic Inveraray; it is also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland. Beach 200 yards.
