Clovelly House underwent a full renovation in 2021. Kitted to the highest standard whilst keeping its original features, it is a perfect oasis for a family trip, reunion or a group of friends exploring the area. Entering Clovelly House, the hallway opens into a large spacious room overlooking the courtyard. An oak staircase is on your left as well as a small cloakroom area just underneath. The living room is at the front of the home, with large sash windows and a feature fire place for show only. Please note that the fire is not a functioning fire place and is for show only. The room has two large sofas, two armchairs and a corner wooden bench, so there’s plenty of room to watch a film on the picture TV.

At the rear of the property from the hallway, you’ll find the dining room with a large custom-made, live-edge oak table that can comfortably seat ten adults. A large bench seat wraps around the corner so small bottoms can easily squeeze in! The dining room has a large window with a window seat overlooking the patio which is a favourite spot to have a morning coffee. The beautiful, country-inspired kitchen has dark blue, hand-painted shaker cabinets and marble countertops, this kitchen has not been skimped on! You’ll find top-of-the-range appliances and all the essential household kitchen appliances and equipment. This is a very well-equipped kitchen so you will be more than able to cook a full Sunday roast for 10 adults.

On the first floor, you’ll find the master suite, which has a freestanding bathtub, king size bed and Smart TV. The master suite also has a private bathroom, and fresh robes are provided to cross the hall into the shower room. Across the hallway, there is a family room, which also contains a double bed with a built-in loft bed above. This room is ideal for a young family and kids will absolutely love climbing up to the loft bed. The first floor also has a twin room with an en-suite and Smart TV.

On the second floor, you’ll find another two bedrooms, each containing a kingsize bed. One room has an en-suite bathroom, and the other has a private bathroom opposite the bedroom. All five bedrooms have a TV with Netflix and Disney+, and bed mattresses are top quality and comfortable, ensuring you have a pleasant night’s sleep. The outdoor courtyard is enclosed and features a lovely seating area with a firepit table.

Clovelly House is located on a quiet street and is very peaceful, and is only a 2-minute walk from a river. Fantastic restaurants, shops and cafés can be found a minutes’ walk away, and its a 10-minute walk to the beach via the historic walls that overlook the water.
