Appletree Cottage is a beautiful stone-built terraced barn conversion with a spacious open plan living area with a wood burner, dining for up to eight people and a well-equipped kitchen. There are three bedrooms sleeping up to six people; the principal room has an en suite, and there is a separate family bathroom. There is a galleried area, with a double sofa bed, which also makes an ideal play area. Outside is a hot tub, picnic table and chairs.

West Lothian Business Excellence Award recognises a business that demonstrates all-round excellence and helps make West Lothian a first-choice destination. All of the cottages have hot tubs and a badger cam, trained on a local badger set, which is very popular with visitors. There are also two cameras observing a half acre pond and a bird feeder where greater spotted woodpeckers visit daily. Over some 20 years the owners have built a number of relationships with local businesses providing everything from catering, pamper days, local tours, things you’ll need like hairdressers and beauty therapists of a wedding or even try your hand at knife and axe throwing.
