Eastfield Cottage sits in a quiet location on the edge of the pretty village of Leven just five miles from the bustling seaside town of Hornsea on the beautiful East Riding Coast. Attached to the main farmhouse, which dates back to the 1800’s, this beautifully presented holiday cottage is ideal for a family or group of friends to explore the Yorkshire Wolds and Yorkshire coastline.

This charming cottage offers a warm welcome when you step inside. The large kitchen/dining room is the heart of this family holiday home and features country-style units, large farmhouse table and French doors leading out to the garden. The cupboards are stocked with all the mod cons and there’s plenty of work top space for the chef in the group to cook up a holiday feast. The living room also has French doors leading out to the garden. With a traditional wood burner and deep filled sofas this room is ideal for a cosy night in front of the TV during the winter months. The ground floor is completed with a family shower room and WC.

The two en-suite bedrooms can be found on the first floor. The first has a beautiful four-poster double and additional single bed and the second a kingsize four-poster with additional sleeping for one on a sofa bed. With a relaxing cottage feel these rooms are sure to delight and you’re guaranteed a great night sleep on the impressive four poster beds!

Eastfield Cottage is set in over one-acre of private garden and has the added bonus of a wood-burning hot tub; just perfect to enjoy a glass of fizz in whilst watching the sun set over the Yorkshire countryside. The private patio offers outside seating for an early morning coffee or an alfresco evening meal.

The quaint village of Leven offers a selection of pubs serving traditional real ales as well as home cooked food and also a selection of village shops. There is a regular bus service that will take you into the beautiful Wolds town of Beverley or to Hornsea for a day at the beach. A short drive from the cottage are the rolling hills of the unspoilt Yorkshire Wolds, made famous by the artist David Hockney. Here you can find miles of cycle routes, footpaths and bridleways to explore. The stately homes of Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House are also within reach.
