The Reading Room in Grindleford, Derbyshire, sleeps four guests in two bedrooms.
The Reading Room has a reverse-level layout consisting of an open-plan living space with a kitchen featuring oven, hob, mcirowave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, a dining area with seating for four guests and sitting area with TV. There are two bedrooms, a double with en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a double, serviced by a bathroom with freestanding bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC. Outside, there is a rear patio with furniture, a fire pit and roadside parking available. Within 2.1 miles, you will find a shop, within 1.9 miles, a pub, and within 0.2 miles a river. Please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. One well-behaved pet welcome. Hope is perfectly situated for either an action-packed break full of caving, climbing, and great walks from the doorstep, or a quiet countryside break in this lovely part of the Peaks. The Winnats Pass cuts a course through superb scenery just a couple of miles away in Castleton, and is a delight for walkers, cyclists and motorists alike. Nearby are the pretty villages of Edale, the start of the Pennine Way, Castleton and Hathersage with its seasonal outdoor swimming pool, while horse riding and the wonderful Castleton Caves are all available within 3 miles. Enjoy a day out at Alton Towers or visit the impressive Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Also within easy reach are Buxton, Matlock Bath and Carsington Water, while further afield are the market towns of Ashbourne and Leek.
